A whole host of celebrities have been included in the prestigious New Year's Honours List 2025.
The annual ceremony recognises unsung heroes who have made outstanding contributions to their communities across the UK. This year, there's a rich mix of stars being bestowed the honour, including Happy Valley star, Sarah Lancashire, actress Carey Mulligan and MasterChef O.G, Loyd Grossman.
One notable omission is David Beckham, who has missed out on the coveted title again. His legion of loyal fans reckon he should be a shoo- in for the gong, particularly after David was papped with the King a number of times this year. However, it looks like Goldenballs will have to wait to receive his longed for Knighthood.
In the meantime, here's a list of all the stars who have received the illustrious honours, starting with Coronation Street legend, Sarah Lancashire...
Sarah Lancashire
Happy Valley star, Sarah Lancashire, has said being recognised in the New Year's Honours is an "unexpected delight".
The actress has won plaudits for her role in Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax after shooting to fame in her breakthrough role in Coronation Street as Raquel Watts.

Born in Newcastle, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (Rada) trained star had smaller roles in classic shows such as Hancock’s Half Hour before joining Coronation Street, and later appeared in Last Tango In Halifax and Dinnerladies.
Loyd Grossman
MasterChef O.G, Loyd Grossman, Loyd said he is “utterly thrilled” and “as close to speechless” as he can get at being awarded a knighthood in the New Year Honours.
The broadcaster and author, known widely for his range of cooking sauces, presented the BBC’s MasterChef in the 1990s and ITV panel show Through The Keyhole with Sir David Frost from 1987 until 2003, inviting viewers into celebrity homes.
He has also maintained a lifelong association with the arts and heritage sectors, and is being honoured for services to heritage.

The 60-year-old, who hosts a Monday afternoon show on BBC Radio 6 Music, has been honoured for services to broadcasting and music venues.
He said: “This came as an incredible shock. Obviously it’s always nice to have your work recognised, especially having just clocked up 31 years in radio.
“But I’m especially pleased at the mention of music venues as well, because live gigs and the people who put them on have been such a huge part of my life alongside my broadcasting career.
“If I could, I’d dedicate this honour to all the venues and artists and promoters across the country, especially the ones at grassroots level, who have given me such joy over the years, and I’m proud to be one of their champions.”
