When I first met you long before Rupaul drag race in Gran Canaria, I knew I had met a star. Not just in the sense of your wonderful talent but your soul. You made us all laugh, smile & lit up every room you were in. I remember me & Scott going to see you Dj in Liverpool a week before Rupaul drag show was about to air and I kept saying ahhhhh no one knows it yet but they’ll tell everyone about the moment they first met the Vivienne here watching you DJ. Doing any tv show or podcast and us finding out we were going to be on it together was always the best feeling for me, I would literally be buzzing to spend time with you. You will be truly missed and always loved my friend @thevivienne_"
Just days earlier, The Vivienne posted on Instagram to ask fans to donate to SAHIR, Liverpool's largest and oldest LGBTQ+ and HIV charity. The drag performer wrote: "Join me in giving back this year, everything I do charitable wise is usually for @sahirhouse house, Liverpools oldest LGBT+ charity!!! The work they do is incredible, thank you. £1 a month you won't miss it."
