The Welsh village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch continues to stun celebrities in the US - this time it's Ellen DeGeneres' turn.

Interviewing British actor Taron Egerton, the hit TV show presenter marveled at his pronunciation of the tongue-twister name.

The Hollywood film star, who hails from the Anglesey village, shot to fame staring alongside Colin Firth in Kingsman: The Secret Service.

He appeared on the American chat show Ellen, rubbing shoulders with Hugh Jackman his co-star in the new Eddie the Eagle movie, reports the Daily Post.

Egerton says the village’s name in full - Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch - while footage is shown of the famous train station.

In recent months the village has hit the headlines with comedian Stephen Fry becoming the latest celebrity to take on the Llanfairpwll tongue-twister .
