Tyson Fury launched a foul-mouthed rant at Oleksandr Usyk after an 11-minute staredown.
The pair had to be pulled apart after they locked eyes for an age before Fury exploded into a tirade of abuse at the WBA, WBC and WBO heavyweight champion at their press conference. Fury, 36, said: “He’s getting f***ed, I was 50 per cent last time, you were the best you’ve ever been and you still couldn’t do s***.
“You couldn’t do f*** all. Don’t you be afraid you rabbit looking f***er. I won’t leave you alone. You ugly little b******. I’m butchering you. You are going to wake up in the hospital you clown. You got a gift decision you clown. I’m the man, I’m the f***ing champion. You ugly rat b******. You are a rat. I’ll beat you seven days a week.”
Usyk didn’t seem bothered by the tirade as he just replied to tell Fury to “not be afraid” and that he “wouldn’t leave him alone”.
The pair locked eyes for 11 minutes and 26 seconds before they started exchanging insults in fiery scenes ahead of their huge rematch this weekend. Fury's wife Paris was in attendance at the press conference after the Gypsy King had claimed he had not spoken to his partner in three months
Usyk outpointed Fury on a split decision in May to claim the crown of undisputed heavyweight champion.
The Ukrainian was forced to give up the IBF belt but the winner this weekend will still be regarded as the No 1 in the division. Usyk, 37, had arrived into the press conference with a live band and a large group of singers.
The two fighters gave brief answers with Fury claiming he is done with the jokes and laughs as he looks for revenge against the man who handed him his first defeat back in May.
He said: “I’m going to dish out a lot of pain, put this f***er in the hurt locker for sure. I’ve got nothing to say apart from there will be a whole lot hurt and pain. The talking is done.
"The first fight I talked, I joked. All my career. This time I’m serious and I’m going to do some damage.”The only drama came at the end of the event as the pair faced off.
Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are set to lock horns again on December 21 with the Brit attempting to avenge his defeat by the Ukrainian in May. Victory for Fury could also set up a huge domestic showdown with bitter rival Anthony Joshua next year
The cameras were everywhere as those in the room tried to get a good vantage point as the pair faced off. But they had plenty of time to get their shot as they stared each other down for what felt like an age.
Then it started to spark into life as Fury threw insults at the WBA, WBC and WBO heavyweight champion. Usyk was firing back and that appeared to anger Fury further as he was pouring with sweat as members of his team tried to pull him away and get out of the venue.
When Usyk did move off the stage, he walked up the adjacent steps and gave a fist pump to those in attendance while some of his team chanted his name.
