Arsenal face Sporting Lisbon on Thursday night, looking to make it 11 straight wins when they return to Europa League action.

Unai Emery's side are bang in form and have racked up eight goals in their last two matches and Mesut Ozil put in one of his most commanding displays for the North London club in Monday night's win over Leicester .

Only champions Manchester City have scored more Premier League goals than the 22 they have notched so far in Emery's debut season also.

But the Gunners midfielder Granit Xhaka insists there will be times when they need to be more cautious than cavalier.

"It is true we score two or three goals in each game but it is not always too easy to score two or three goals.

"But we know we have good players up front."

One of those occasions could well be in the Portuguese capital, against a Sporting side who have won all five home games this season.

The Lions lost a number of key men during a tumultuous summer, including club captains Rui Patricio and William Carvalho, plus winger Gelson Martins, but can still call on playmaker Bruno Fernandes.

He is likely to face off against a recalled Aaron Ramsey, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - with another two goals to his name on Monday night - is also set to start.
