The suspension of the Premier League season amid the coronavirus crisis has caused plenty of Premier League confusion.

One issue at risk of having a major impact is players out of contract at the end of the season.

Some big names will be out of contract at their clubs on June 30 - but there remains the prospect of the season being extended beyond that date in order to fit in fixtures as a result of the delay.

It is unclear how the problem would be solved if that situation does arise, with the prospect of players needing to sign new terms to remain with their clubs or not feature in the closing stages of a potentially delayed season.
