Paul Pogba has climbed up an unwanted list of the worst penalty takers in Premier League history after his latest miss.
The French midfielder squandered the chance to put Manchester United 2-1 up against Wolves at Molineux as his second half spot-kick was saved by Rui Patricio.
He has now missed four penalties in the last 12 months in the top flight, moving him into sixth spot for the worst penalty conversion rate in the Premier League from players who have taken 10 kicks or more.
Pogba has scored seven of his 11 penalties, meaning he has missed 36% of his attempts.
The list of players, shown by Sky Sports on Monday Night Football, highlighted former Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel as the man with the worst record.
He took 10 spot kicks and missed five during his Premier League stint.
Next on the list was Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez, who has missed five of his 12 attempts, giving him a 42% rate of failure.
Steed Malbranque and Dwight Yorke both only scored six out of 10, whilst Kevin Phillips was successful 11 times out of 18 giving him only a slightly worse record than Pogba.
Michael Owen also had a poor penalty record, with his 33% miss percentage just marginally better than Pogba, with 14 goals out of 21.
Manchester United legend Gary Neville was left "fuming" by Pogba taking the penalty, a week after Marcus Rashford slammed home from 12 yards against Chelsea .
"Before the penalty I was fuming," Neville said on Sky Sports.
"A couple of years ago when Mirallas took one off Baines I called it a despicable act. It is treachery in football terms to take a penalty off a teammate.
"However we have looked back on the penalty last week when Rashford took one against Chelsea and Pogba walked up to Rashford and they had a long chat.
"I'm not sure if Pogba should have taken the one last week and Rashford stole that.
"They had a long chat again today. I don't like it, why is there a long debate over who is taking it? There should never be a debate.
"Pogba has missed four of them over the last 12 months, so you would think he has had his chance.
"Rashford scored last week...take the penalty! There wasn't a leader out on the pitch. They couldn't make a decision between them. It was embarrassing.
"Something wasn't right.
"Initially I was fuming at Pogba as I thought 'typically you, you selfish, why are you trying to take a penalty off a player' but I'm holding off on it."
