There is less than a month remaining before the summer transfer window officially opens for Premier League clubs.
Yet some are already seeking improvements. Liverpool have struck an agreement with Porto that will give them first refusal on starlet Fabio Vieira - four months after signing Luis Diaz from the Portuguese giants.
Christian Eriksen has been discussing his future, while Paulo Dybala's agent is reportedly in London to listen to offers from English clubs... including Arsenal and Manchester United.
There are rumours Lionel Messi could be heading back to Barcelona. "Would I like Leo Messi to come back? Yes of course," the club's president Joan Laporta is quoted as saying.
The future of West Ham vice-captain Declan Rice is also in the spotlight and what will Newcastle do, with their Saudi owners looking to make a splash?

Goodnight
That's all from us today. We'll be back tomorrow with the latest news, gossip and rumours.
Arsenal dealt massive CL blow
Not strictly transfer news, but it's a result which could have a huge impact on this summer's transfer window.
Arsenal look set to lose to Newcastle at St James' Park, meaning Spurs now need to simply avoid defeat to already relegated Norwich City to secure Champions League footbal in spite of their north London rivals.
Mikel Arteta has insisted the Gunners will be busy in the transfer window regardless of which European competition they're in, but the Europa League may make it a much harder sell for some players.
Gundogan free to leave Man City
The Daily Mail claim that Ilkay Gundogan has been informed that he will be allowed to leave Man City at the end of the season.
Gundogan became Pep Guardiola’s first signing for City and has remained a regular throughout his time at The Etihad. But with just one year remaining on his contract it is reported that the German international is free to find another club.
Fernandinho is also set to leave the club at the end of the season, with Erling Haaland’s arrival already confirmed.
Noble sends message to West Ham owners
Mark Noble has sent a departing message to West Ham’s owners and urged the board to back manager David Moyes.
The veteran midfielder issued an emotional goodbye to home supporters after playing his final game at the London Stadium on Sunday.
He will retire at the end of the season, marking the end of an era in East London. And having already qualified for Europe next season, Noble has told bosses, they will need to bring in a number of players to keep progressing next season.
“Obviously we’ve got quite a big summer coming up, because we’ve got a few players out of contract, a few players leaving,” he told the club’s YouTube channel.
“We’re probably two or three players short as it is now so we’re going to have to add to the squad.
“For obvious reasons the dynamics of the dressing room is going to change because I won’t be there and you’ve got people like Yarma (Andriy Yarmolenko), who is an experienced pro, I read something that he will be going.
“So there’s a few out of contract that might not be there. But me knowing the manager and the staff here they’ll get whipped into shape quickly and be ready to play next season.”
Pogba 'open' to Ten Hag talks
Sky Sports have now reported that Pogba is open to discussing his Man Utd future with Erik ten Hag, before leaving the club.
Pogba’s representatives are holding talks with Juventus, with an Old Trafford exit looking highly likely. However, the latest report suggests Pogba wants to hold talks with the new boss before deciding to leave on a free, with his contract expiring next month.
Richarlison 'hoping to leave Everton'
Goal Brazil claim Richarlison will look to leave Eveton at the end of the season, with the Toffees battling against the drop.
Richarlison scored Everton’s first goal during the damaging defeat to Brentford and has been in good form in the final weeks of the season.
But reports suggest he now wants to play one of the ‘giants’ of European football, having previously piqued the interest of Real Madrid and Manchester United.
His representatives will now go about talking to prospective suitors with his preference being to stay in the Premier League.
Chelsea monitoring Lewandowski situation
Robert Lewandowski has his heart set on a move to Barcelona, despite interest from Chelsea, according to reports.
The 33-year-old’s future has become headline news after suggestions he is set to leave Bayern Munich this summer. Lewandowski’s contract at the Allianz Arena is due to run until June 2023, but he has confirmed he has no intention of extending that and would like to leave if an appropriate bid is forthcoming.
Chelsea are in the mix, but have to overcome a number of hurdles, including some reservations from Lewandowski about playing in the Premier League.
Pogba talks ongoing
The Frenchman is set to leave Man Utd and a return to Juve, remains the most likely possibility.
It is understood his entourage met Bianconeri bosses in Turin on Monday, but after four hours of talks, a resolution has yet to be reached.
Moura offers clarity on Spurs future
Lucas Moura looks set to stay at Spurs, despite falling out of favour under Antonio Conte.
Moura was a regular for much of the season, but has since lost his place to January signing Dejan Kulusevski. That has led to speculation the Brazilian could look to move on in the summer, but has instead insisted he is already looking forward to next season.
"[It's a] huge pleasure for me to be here. Every year, every training session, every game I come and give my best because they [fans] deserve and the feeling is amazing," he admitted.
"I love this club, I love to play for Tottenham. For me, the feeling is amazing. I just want to come on the pitch and give my best and see the fans singing and see them happy.
"The most important for us is to give our best on the pitch to see them like this. Let's fight for more next season and fight for a trophy because they [fans] deserve it," Moura added.
Raphinha bid 'submitted'
Barcelona have ‘presented a bid’ for Leeds star Raphinha, according to UOL via Sport Witness.
The Brazilian outlet claims that the Blaugrana have submitted an offer worth €55m for the forward with hopes talks can now accelerate.
It is even suggested that Raphinha has a verbal agreement with the LaLiga giants and would sign a five-year deal at the Camp Nou.
Mbappe 'makes contact' with Liverpool
Liverpool have been informed that the battle for Kylian Mbappe’s signature is now between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Mbappe has hinted a decision has been made and will he make that public soon, with reports in Spain suggesting an agreement has been reached with the Spanish champions.
Marca claim that if he was to leave France, his only other option would be to realise a boyhood dream and play for Real Madrid, the team he supported as a child. The report adds that in the last week Mbappe’s representatives made contact with Reds bosses to let them know that while he was flattered by their interest, they were not an option for him.
Man Utd sent Rice warning
Kleberson believes Manchester United should only pursue Declan Rice if he will fit in with the system used by Erik ten Hag as they weigh up a potential £100million swoop for the midfielder.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from West Ham United this summer, with Manchester City, the Red Devils and Chelsea all reportedly keen on the player. Ten Hag is set to make a new midfielder his primary target in the transfer window as he looks to bolster his squad.
Kleberson told GOAL: "Whether Declan Rice is worth £100m depends on how Erik ten Hag wants to play. Declan Rice is a good player, and he can help Manchester United to make better decisions in most areas, but it all depends on how the new manager uses him.
"He’s not a big signing but more of a project and he would fit in well at United. It might take a bit of time for him to settle, but the more minutes he gets, he can help Manchester United."
Liverpool edge ahead in Bellingham race
Liverpool are leading the race for yet another Birmingham City starlet, this time Jobe Bellingham.
The Reds have asked to be kept informed of the youngster’s situation at Birmingham City.Premier League clubs have been put on alert the 16-year-old, brother of Borussia Dortmund and England star Jude, could be up for grabs.

Simon Bird's transfer round-up
All the big names and most tantalising summer transfer deals are filling the European deal columns today, with Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba all on the agenda.
When will Mbappe make a decision on his future? Could Lionel Messi head back to the Nou Camp? Could Paul Pogba really stay at United… or take a pay cut.
Inside Real Madrid's Mbappe offer
Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe is set to confirm his move to Real Madrid after claiming that a decision on his future will be announced "in a matter of days".
PSG star striker Mbappe has reportedly reached an agreement to join Real Madrid this summer – the Spanish giants have had a long-running interest in the Frenchman.
Mbappe is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain in June and he has recently hinted at a move to Real Madrid while a recent interview suggested that he is open to leaving France.
Saka told to ignore transfer talk
Bacary Sagna says Bukayo Saka could become an all-time Arsenal great… if he stays at the club.
After his Euro 2020 disappointment, Saka has kicked on this season, top-scoring for Arsenal as they chase a Champions League spot for the first time since 2016. The 20-year-old has been enjoying his best season in front of goal leading to reported interest from Manchester City.
But while some have suggested for the England star to make the move to the Etihad if an offer is forthcoming, Sagna - who made the move himself back in 2014 - has advised Saka to stay put at the Emirates, and cement his place as a Gunners legend. The former France international is in no doubt that there is much more to come from the 20-year-old in North London.

Elneny gives contract update
Mohamed Elneny has described Arsenal as his "family" and will stay at the Emirates if the club's hierarchy "want" him to.
The 29-year-old's existing deal expires this summer and it's still unclear if he'll put pen to paper on a new contract. Elneny does not feature regularly under Mikel Arteta - making just 12 Premier League appearances this season - but has started the last five games.
The Egypt international has struggled for minutes throughout his six-and-a-half years at the Emirates. He's only played 145 games for Arsenal during that period - winning the FA Cup in May 2017 - and spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Turkish outfit Besiktas.
Despite this, Elneny could still be part of Arsenal's squad for next season. "I've said before, if Arsenal want me, it's my club, my family, but it's not my decision," the midfielder told Sky Sports. "I have to wait for them to say 'Mo, we want you'.
"Since the first day I have been here, it has felt like a family. We really work like that here, it's such a beautiful club."
Barca make De Jong admission.
Barcelona director Mateu Alemany has admitted the club are “conditioned” by financial fair play rules amid rumours they will sell Frenkie de Jong this summer.
De Jong has been strongly linked with Manchester United, with incoming manager Erik ten Hag reportedly wanting a reunion with the former Ajax midfielder at Old Trafford. The 25-year-old cost Barca £65million from Ajax in 2019 and has four years remaining on his Barca contract, but has emerged as a priority target for United.
Barcelona have been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic and their over-spending in the preceding years. The Spanish giants will need to tread carefully in the summer transfer window as they try to bolster Xavi Hernandez’s squad and Alemany has suggested they may need to sell current players to bring in reinforcements.
“We haven’t made any decisions regarding the squad; Frenkie is a quality player, very important. We are conditioned by [financial] fair play, conditioned by the situation inherited by the club,” he said. “We must be patient. We are clear that we are going to reinforce the team. It is necessary and we want to compete for the titles next year.”
Man Utd's De Jong boost
Ruben Neves' decision on his future could have a direct impact on where Frenkie de Jong ends up this summer.
Manchester United have been linked with both players as Erik Ten Hag looks to add quality to the Red Devils' midfield.
Ruben Neves, who appeared to say an emotional farewell to Wolves in their last home game of the season, has been on United's radar for some time, while De Jong's previous relationship with Ten Hag has put him at the top of the incoming manager's shortlist.
Neves is expected to find a new club for next season, while reports claim Barca have put De Jong up for sale as they look to use the funds to add reinforcements and alleviate their current financial pressures.
Barcelona are also interested in acquiring Neves, however, with Sport reporting that the player's agent Jorge Mendes is in negotiations with the Spanish club eyeing him as a successor for Sergio Busquets.
But the report says that for a deal to work, De Jong will have to be sacrificed, which could pave the way for United to make their move for the Dutch international.
Foster to leave Watford
Ben Foster has confirmed he will leave Watford at the end of the season.
The 39-year-old, who re-joined the Hornets in the summer of 2018, could not stop them from suffering relegation under Roy Hodgson this term.
"The ups, downs, good, bad & ugly… it’s all part of the journey!" tweeted Foster. "My time Watford is up, but a huge thanks for all the support and love I've received from fans, players and staff in the six years with the club, it’s been a blast!
"Looking forward to what next season will bring."
Mbappe to reveal future 'in next few days'
Kylian Mbappe has revealed he will make a decision on his future "in a matter of days" as he weighs up offers from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
It appeared that the French superstar was destined for the Bernabeu as he looked set to snub a stay in Paris, but the latest reports suggest he could extend his contract at the Parc des Princes. Mbappe's current contract runs out in June which means there is not long left for him to make a decision.
And the 23-year-old says there will be an official confirmation in the next few days and that he has "almost" choose his next move. He said at the UNFP awards ceremony where he picked up his third consecutive Ligue 1 player of the year award: “I will officially announce my decision on the future before I join the France national team in June. It’s a matter of days then it will be official.
He added that his decision “will be known very soon, it’s almost done. My decision is made, yes, almost”.
Man Utd's new £85m striker
Manchester United are in contact with Victor Osimhen over an £85million move, as reported by Team Talk.
The Napoli striker, 23, has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season.
Arsenal's transfer shortlist
Arsenal could pay as little as £45million for three top South American footballers this summer.
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu have formed their transfer shortlist ahead of a potentially busy window. They spent more than £140m on fresh talent last summer and are poised to splash more cash in the coming months to further bolster Arteta's squad.
Much will, of course, depend on where they finish in the Premier League. Arsenal are looking to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in six years. And if the Gunners re-join Europe's elite, then that will no doubt help them attract talent to north London.
Benfica 'look for Nunez replacement'
Benfica are expecting Darwin Nunez to leave the club this summer and are looking for his replacement, according to The Athletic.
The Portuguese giants are considering a £21.3million bid for Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic. It's believed they want £51m for Nunez, who is a target for Manchester United.
Nunez, 22, has scored 26 goals in 28 league games this season.
Liverpool leading Bellingham pursuit
As reported by Mirror Football on Sunday, Liverpool are among the early frontrunners to sign Jude Bellingham's younger brother Jobe.
The Reds have asked to be kept informed of the youngster’s situation at Birmingham City. Premier League clubs have been put on alert the 16-year-old could be up for grabs.
Jobe has been offered scholarship terms by the Blues, but is free to sign a contract with other clubs from next season.
However, Birmingham are fighting to keep hold of the young forward and are believed to be giving him assurances over his future development.
Ten Hag drops Ronaldo hint
Erik ten Hag has described Cristiano Ronaldo as a “giant” of a player and said he is relishing the chance to work with the Manchester United star.
Ten Hag begins his reign as United's new boss today and has outlined his vision for taking the fallen giants back to the very top – which includes a central role for Ronaldo.
United's failure to secure Champions League football had led to suggestions Ronaldo was ready to leave this summer, just a year after his sensational return to Old Trafford. But ten Hag has told the 37-year-old he is looking forward to working with him and utilising his experience and continued influence to plot United's route back to the top.
"I am looking forward to working with him,” said ten Hag. “Ronaldo is a giant, because of what he has already shown, and I think he is still very ambitious. Of course I want to keep him in. He has been very important for Manchester United this year and can show great statistics."
Arsenal 'considering Gabriel sale'
Arsenal are "developing the idea" of selling defender Gabriel to Juventus, according to Italian outlet TuttoSport.
Juventus are believed to be interested in the Brazilian centre-back, who's impressed for the Gunners this term.
Mikel Arteta will not want to sell Gabriel until he has a replacement, however, due to the team's lack of depth in that position.
And even if one of two new defenders are signed this summer, it seems unlikely the 24-year-old will leave.
Bayern chief slams Lewandowski
Bayern Munich's honorary president Uli Hoeness insists Robert Lewandowski's refusal to sign a new contract is "all about money".
The Poland international, 33, has no interest in extending his existing deal, which expires in 13 months' time. Barcelona are believed to be interested in signing him.
"He knew in Dortmund a year beforehand that he was going to Bayern Munich and had an outstanding season back then," Hoeness told German outlet Kicker, hinting at Lewandoswki's exit. "That's why I'm one hundred percent sure that Robert will play very well for us next year."
Hoeness went on to say: "If you have a year, FC Bayern are in a much easier position to look for a successor. Apart from that, it is not certain that he will want to leave in a year if he stays now. At 35 he knows what he has at Bayern. I am very confident. We'll have a good season with Robert Lewandowski. It's also clear: It's all about money, nothing else."
Pochettino to meet with PSG chief
Mauricio Pochettino will meet with Paris Saint-Germain cheif Nasser Al-Khelaifi to discuss his future after a challenging season, according to Spanish outlet Marca.
Although the French giants won Ligue 1, they failed to compete in the Champions League or win a domestic cup. Rumours elsewhere suggest Pochettino's time in Paris is up.
Newcastle want Henderson
As reported by Mirror Football on Sunday, Newcastle have intensified their interest in Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Toon sources say boss Eddie Howe, who wanted Henderson on loan in January, sees the £20million-rated England international as the ideal successor to Newcastle No1 Martin Dubravka.
Henderson, 25, is understood to be ready to seek a move unless incoming Old Trafford boss Erik Ten Hag guarantees that he will become the Red Devils’ first-choice keeper ahead of David de Gea.
