Swindon caretaker boss David Byrne slammed his team for failing to follow his orders as they slumped at home to Brighton.

Byrne refused to accept the blame for the defeat, saying: "If the players decide to ignore what I tell them, then that is not my fault." But his Brighton counterpart Dean Wilkins was delighted after his side's thumping win.

Nicky Forster scored his 12th goal of the season in the third minute, before Jake Robinson and Dean Hammond got on the scoresheet. Wilkins said: "After losing our unbeaten run last week, it was important that we made a quick start. Forster's goal proved the perfect tonic."
