John Sheridan has told his young team they need to grow up fast as the Latics face a huge test in the next six days.
Goals from Scott Dann and former England striker Michael Ricketts, on loan from Oldham, made it 11 away games without defeat for Richard Money's men.
But, with huge clashes against Leeds and Everton, in the FA Cup, coming up this week, Sheridan said: "I've told the lads that when they make mistakes, they can't worry about it. I'll keep putting them in the side but we can't keep waiting for them to produce."
