Fear

In the first season of this UK original series, tensions run high, as one family is pushed to their absolute limits.

The psychological thriller sees Martyn, who is played by Line of Duty’s Martin Compston, make a fresh start away from London with Rebecca (Anjli Mohindra) and their two young children.

The excited couple move into a beautiful house in Glasgow, which at first “seems idyllic, but when their neighbour Jan (Solly McLeod) makes unnerving comments to Rebecca, it turns out to be the start of something far more intimidating.”

The synopsis continues: “Facing accusations that are every parent's worst nightmare, and with the authorities refusing to step in, Martyn and Rebecca feel they have nowhere to turn to for help”.

The Summer I Turned Pretty is coming back for Season 3

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3

Following the success of its first two seasons, The Summer I Turned Pretty is returning once more, led by showrunners Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka.

The show follows 16-year-old Isabel 'Belly' Conklin’s love triangle with her childhood friends, the Fisher brothers, and is based on Han’s book of the same name.

Head of television at Amazon and MGM Studios, Vernon Sanders, said of the project: "We've been delighted to see the passion with which fans have embraced The Summer I Turned Pretty. Jenny Han is a gifted storyteller whose fans have been clamouring for the third chapter of this story.

"We're excited today to share the news that they have a lot more Summer to look forward to."

He travels from England to visit his mother on a secluded and remote Greek island, and is armed with questions around new information on his paternity. The intense family drama sees Edward battle to find the right time to speak to his frustratingly distant mother.
