Shaun Wallace was tonight told his emotional intelligence was a "super power."

The Chasers Road Trip sees Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty and Mark Labbett go through various experiences that get to the bottom of just how bright they are.

And in an episode that saw them take on child prodigies at various mind games, the three Chasers were also put through an emotional intelligence test.

The test saw them answer questions that would determined aspects of their personalities - one being empathy.

And Shaun scored a staggering 99%.

"Empathy, 99%?" he asked the researcher.

"So, you have a superpower, I would say, in empathy," he told him.

"To see the world from somebody else's perspective, this is tremendously developed."

And the narrator couldn't resist taking a crack at the other two, joking: "So even though in this test there are definitely no winners...Shaun won, he really did."

The episode also saw Mark take on a 10-year-old at chess.

"Being the ruthless competitor I am, I don't care if they're a world champion, I'll give them a game," he said.

But despite his eagerness, Mark lost the match to the younger lad.

"I wasn't impressed with the kids as all they were doing was what they've been trained to do," he joked.

"Come and face me on my specialties and I'll own you."

But there was no shame as both Anne and Shaun were also ousted by the children they competed against.
