EastEnders airs the moment fans have been waiting for on Friday night, as Sean Slater, played by actor Rob Kazinsky, makes his return.

After fleeing Walford in 2009, Jean Slater’s son makes his comeback, but it’s been revealed he’s hiding something huge.

Actor Rob teased his character has a secret, and viewers will find it all about it when he rejoins the Slater clan for a brief stint.

Speaking ahead of the scenes airing, Rob promised viewers will not be disappointed by his storyline.

He said: “When Sean left there were a lot of questions unanswered and this time I said to Kate, if I never come back and I never reprise Sean again, let’s leave no questions unanswered. Let’s tell all the secrets.”

Teasing it could be the last time fans see him, he did say he wouldn’t rule out a second return later on.

Rob went on to tease where Sean has been for the past 10 years since his dramatic exit in 2009.

He said: “Sean has spent 10 years hiding and running, he’s terrified and has refused to put down roots.

“Sean comes back to make peace so that if Jean does die she knows everything, she knows the truth.”

Sister Stacey made contact with Sean to tell him about mum Jean’s cancer diagnosis.

While Sean makes his screen return on Friday, he isn’t actually seen back with Jean and Stacey until Monday when he shocks them by appearing in The Queen Vic.

EastEnders teased the epic scene in a clip, which sees Stacey telling her mum that he isn’t coming back.

In that moment, Sean walks through the doors and reconciles with his loved ones, before engaging in an awkward reunion with ex Ruby Allen.

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm.
