It's safe to say I'm A Celebrity viewers were not happy with the latest twist on the ITV1 series.
After it was announced by hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly that the public vote had been cancelled, the campmates learned they would need to compete for immunity. The camp had to split into two groups, and trials would need to be completed.
The two people from each group that found the most tokens in said challenge would get a final chance to win immunity. This would save them from the next two public vote eliminations, and grant them a place in Celebrity Cyclone.
At the end of Wednesday's show, Ant and Dec announced the four people competing again were Oti Mabuse, Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones and Maura Higgins. While some fans had predicted this given some of them were shown with loads of tokens, others called it "obvious" and suggested it was "rigged".
But the four chosen people aside, fans were annoyed with the twist and called it out - hoping to have decided themselves who made it all the way to the penultimate episode. They feared it would mean favourites were at risk, as others commented that some of the most popular campmates had been chosen as the four.
Some fans went as far as to call it the show's "biggest ever mistake" even hinting they may switch off. That said others liked the shake-up, happy with the four stars who won the challenge.
One viewer commented: "Huge mistake. Cyclone should only be decided by public vote." Another said: "Biggest mistake in the shows history," as a third added: "This trial was a huge mistake and completely unfair."
A further comment read: "Bad idea, should be the public who decide, major mistake doing it like this." As for the four stars selected, one viewer said: "Well this was very obvious as who top 4 were gonna be."
Another added: "I do love Colleen but I think it's obvious she is gonna get the ticket. She's the highest paid and they'll wanna keep her in there." That said, another fan pointed out: "Seems like it could be Danny, Coleen, Oti and Maura fighting it out for immunity. They looked like they got lots of tickets," while another said: "Some of the replies on here saying 'rigged' for Colleen. You could see she was getting way more tickets than the others. Some weird jealous people on here."
