Bradley Walsh seemed a bit surprised when a contestant on the Chase revealed that it wasn't her first time on TV, with her having disclosed a previous on-screen appearance.

The presenter, 63, hosted the latest episode of the ITV quiz show, which aired on Tuesday. He introduced viewers to contestants Oli, Victoria, Tam and Kathleen, who each later went up against Darragh Ennis, 43, known as the Menance.

HR advisor Oli managed to bank £4,000 for the potential prize fund during his head-to-head, but both Victoria and Tam were eliminated in their respective attempts. Kathleen was the last of the contestants to take on the Chaser.

Introducing herself before her first round of questions, retired civil servant Kathleen spoke about her interests. Asked what she does in her spare time, Kathleen said: "I'm in a choir. We've been on television a couple of times."

Seemingly taken a back by the remark, Bradley was heard saying "oh" before enquiring about the choir. He asked: "What show?" Kathleen told the host: "We were on Celebrity Carols at Christmas. We performed with Aled Jones."

Kathleen went on to further discuss her hobbies moments later. She shared on the latest episode of the Chase: "I do reading with children in school that just need a little extra help reading and I'm a volunteer for Make-A-Wish Foundation."

Kathleen managed to answer three questions correctly in her cash builder round but choice to go with the low offer of £1,000 for her head-to-head. She however was unable to outrun Darragh, who quickly caught her during the round and sent her out of the competition.

As reported by the Daily Star, as a result of her departure, fellow contestant Oli found himself alone in the final round, pitted against the Chaser. He was left to comete for the £4,000 jackpot on his own after the other three contestants were eliminated.

The outlet reports that Bradley was supportive towards Oli as he headed into the final round. Oli managed to get twelve questions correct during the final round, though he had to wait to discover if Darragh would exceed that number and win the round. The Chaser caught him up with 50 seconds remaining on the clock.

Acknowledging his effort, Bradley told Oli that his attempt had been "valiant". He further commented: "You need a team of four. It's been great having you one, nonetheless, thank you for being here. Sadly though, Oli, I've got to take the four grand away. [...] You have been caught by the Chaser!" Darragh added: "It's extremely difficult in the final on your own. You did as good a job as you could."

The Chase continues tomorrow on ITV and ITVX from 5pm.
