Sir Lenny Henry has left Comic Relief 2021 viewers amazed by how young he looked.
The co-founder of the charity and actor-comedian, 62, made a return to present the bi-annual charity event and introduce a series of sketches and performances alongside other presenters such as Davina McCall, Paddy McGuinness and David Tennant.
Lenny showed off his svelte physique and youthful looks on the stage of the show, which he has presented since 1985 when he founded the charity with British screenwriter Richard Curtis.
He previously told The Mirror that he lost three stone of weight back in 2014 due to health reasons.
At the time, he told us: "I'm a bit diabetic, so I was put on a very strict diet.
"I've lost between two and a half and three stone. I was big."
Taking to social media, Comic Relief viewers shared how blown away they were by Sir Lenny's youthful looks.
One viewer penned on Twitter : "Lenny Henry looking marvellous. Undeniable."
A different Comic Relief viewer commented: "They say laughing keeps you young. Want proof, look at Lenny Henry, he doesn't seem to age."
Meanwhile, another Lenny admirer wrote: "Blimey where’s the rest of Lenny Henry? Looks [fire emoji] though. And decades younger. #ComicRelief2021 ".
Elsewhere, a different social media user noted: "How old is Lenny Henry? Looks about 35".
Finally, one Comic Relief fan concluded: "Interesting things about comic relief so far, Lenny Henry looks younger every year, Tennant and Sheen were excellent, Back to the Future awful, it’s a bloody good cause #ComicRelief ".
Lenny is certainly looking fresh!
Also putting in an appearance on tonight's show was comedienne Dawn French, 63, who Lenny was married to from 1984 until their amicable divorce in 2010.
The pair share a daughter named Billie.
Dawn portrayed her iconic character of Geraldine aka The Vicar of Dibley in a sketch at the top of the show.
