Jamie Foxx says he's "too blessed to be stressed" after being involved in a recent altercation at his birthday dinner. The actor and comedian's spokesperson said the incident occurred when someone from another table at Beverly Hills' Mr Chow restaurant hurled a glass that hit him in the mouth.

Following the incident on Friday (13 December), Jamie required stitches and is now recovering. The authorities were notified, and according to the spokesperson, the matter is currently being handled by law enforcement. Jamie addressed the incident on Instagram, stating: "The devil is busy... but I'm too blessed to be stressed.."

Jamie also expressed his gratitude to fans for watching his Netflix show, adding: "The devil is a lie. This comes shortly after the actor emotionally revealed the details of his terrifying health crisis last year, in which he suffered a stroke caused by a brain bleed, resulting in him "seeing a tunnel" and believing he was dying after "losing 20 days."

The Django Unchained star opened up about his hospitalisation last April due to a mysterious "medical complication" that he and his family chose to keep under wraps. In his latest Netflix show, Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was...., he recounted the scare, revealing: "On April 11, I was having a bad headache, and I asked my boy for Aspirin. I realised quickly that when you're in a medical emergency, your boys don't know what the f*** to do." He continued, admitting to the audience: "I don't remember 20 days."

Emotionally, the actor shared his gratitude for being back after the ordeal, saying to his live audience: "You don't know how good this feels." He described a calm yet ominous experience during his health crisis, stating: "Your life doesn't flash before you. It was kind of oddly peaceful. I saw the tunnel, but I didn't see the light. It was hot in that tunnel."
