Emily Clarkson has announced the arrival of her second bundle of joy with husband Alex Andrew. The proud mum, 30, who's TV star Jeremy Clarkson's daughter, took to social media sharing heartwarming snaps from the hospital as she embraced her brand-new daughter, Xanthe Fiadh Andrew.
She gushed in her post: "She's here. Xanthe Fiadh Andrew arrived a few days ago and just brought the sunshine with her. We are all so happy xxxx."
Her post was quickly flooded with love and congratulations from celebrity friends including Holly Ramsay, while another friend expressed their joy: "You made it! ! The biggest congratulations to you all, couldn't be happier for you. Gorgeous name too."
The little one’s name, Xanthe, harks back to ancient Greece and was once borne by a female warrior; it means "fair-haired" and is derived from the Greek word xanthos, which translates to "golden". Fiadh, on the other hand, is Irish in origin, symbolising "deer", "wilderness", and "respect".
Already a devoted mother to Arlo Rose, Emily first shared the news of her expanding family back in July with an adorable snap showing off her growing bump. Sharing her excitement, she penned: "Our baby girl is going to be a big sister, so so so so excited to share that we're expecting another little girl so much harder to hide this time around, made harder by HG which has been a huge and hard part of this pregnancy so far", reports the Mirror.
Eager to discuss more about her challenging journey through hyperemesis gravidarum, she hinted at opening up in the future, but for the present moment, she focused on celebrating her beautiful news: "I want to talk a lot more about that, and I will, but for now, here's our wonderful news, we're over the moon."
Emily – who was praised for showing off her 'real' body after the birth of her first child – is Jeremy Clarkson's eldest, whom he shares with ex-wife Frances Cain along with son Finlo, 26, and Katya, 23. The former couple split in 2014 after 21 years of marriage.
While the proud grandad hasn't yet commented on the newest family member, he did share a sweet snap last year of himself holding baby Arlo, marking his first time as a grandfather.
