Married At First Sight UK's Ross McCarthy and Sacha Jones seemed to be heading for a happily ever after when they decided to stay together at the final vows. Their lovey-dovey display at the reunion dinner party and final commitment ceremony gave fans hope that they would stay together. However, despite Ross's decision to relocate to Walsall to be with Sacha, their relationship came to an unexpected end. Now, Ross has made his new relationship with girlfriend Magdalena Instagram official, even introducing her to his adorable daughter Blue.
The 32 year old posted a video of him and his "real deal" girlfriend enjoying a day at the beach. He captioned the clip: "The moment I been waiting for.... The real deal. My world." Responding to his sweet post, Magdalena commented: "My everything." In the video, Ross can be seen showering his new flame with kisses and cuddles, much to the delight of his followers. One fan wrote: "I wish you all the happiness in the world, sorry things with sacha didn't work out x." Another added: "Worst kept secret but glad you have someone who deserves you! " A third chimed in: "Congrats Magda is lovely."
Ross has shared several cosy snaps of him and Magdalena together, along with screenshots of their sweet exchanges. One message read "you're the best", to which she responded "You're welcome, you can keep me forever." Ross even added an 'M' initial to his Instagram bio, and Magda reciprocated.
In an exclusive chat with OK!, Sacha now claims that not only was she later dumped by Ross via text after she stormed off in tears during the final vows. She was also left devastated when he appeared to have moved on just a few weeks later.
Speaking about what happened after filming ended, Sacha claims she received a message out of the blue from her groom in June saying, “We’re done, I’m ending it. Don’t text me again please, take care', with no further explanation. "That was the end of the relationship,” she says. "Then weeks later, he was posting pictures with his new girlfriend saying, ‘This is the real deal’."
Even before the series wrapped up, Sacha took to Vinted to sell her final vows gown previously priced at £1,500, for £800. She praised its condition, confirming it's "very good" and shared that the white floral number with a sweeping train had actually been custom-made for her.
She detailed her listing on the second-hand site, writing: "White flower long dress. Ideal for a prom, pageant or wedding dress as it has a train. Band inside to cinch waist. Custom made paid £1500 for it. Worn for a pageant and on MAFS final vows."
The couple's relationship was fraught with challenges throughout the show. In one episode, during the Homestays segment, viewers watched as Sacha told her parents about her hesitations moving to Ross's hometown of Manchester due to his unpredictable nature.
And despite Ross relocating to Walsall by the end of the season, their difficulties didn't end, with Ross even abruptly leaving her place for Manchester.
