Maura Higgins is over the moon as she recently acquired her dream home, complete with a stunning kitchen that's to die for. The 34 year old Love Island sensation took time to reflect on a whirlwind year and shared her standout moments with her followers. It was an eventful year for Maura, who made a splash by returning to our screens on I'm A Celebrity, and found romance with TOWIE heartthrob Pete Wicks.
Aside from her television comeback and blooming love life, Maura has been striking goal after goal in her personal life, too. Among her proudest achievements, she has nestled into her new idyllic property and splashed out on a luxurious £60k Porsche. Giving her fans a little tour, Maura flaunted her sparkling kitchen that features a magnificent island and eye-catching waterfall chandelier.
With chic grey and cream cupboards, slick black surfaces, and grand bifold doors leading to the garden, its every homeowner's dream, reports the Mirror. Captioning the picture of her new home, Maura simply wrote: "Bought my dream home."
Not stopping there, she also teased another of the year's highlights purchasing her flashy Porsche. Sharing a snap of the car concealed under a black cloth with a festive red bow, Maura disclosed she treated herself following the demise of her previous car to fire.
Prices for Maura's Porsche Macan span from £60k to £98k. She proudly uncovered her latest high-end toy back in November, exclaiming: "My baby has arrived finally."
Since her Aussie jungle adventure, Maura has become virtually inseparable from her beau, Pete Wicks. They've been totally smitten since sparking romance rumours back in August, and despite the whispers that Pete was getting cosy with his Strictly Come Dancing partner Jowita Przysta, 30, it looks like Maura has nothing to worry about.
After a brief time apart, Maura and Pete are now inseparable, indulging in all things luxe. They spent a dreamy Christmas in Maura's homeland of Ireland, cosying up at the plush Glasson Lakehouse Spa and Golf Club in Glasson, County Westmeath. Once they landed back in the UK, the lovebirds headed straight to Pete's Essex stomping ground for a fancy dinner at celeb hotspot Sheesh.
Next up was a jaunt to the Cotswolds for some downtime at the star-studded Soho Farm House, a favourite of big names like the Beckhams and Meghan Markle.
Maura took to her socials to post a video of a roaring fire, captioning it "Checked into the Farm" and setting the mood with Nat King Cole's classic Let's Fall In Love. Her Insta Stories gave us a peek into their stay, featuring her snuggled in bed watching The Grinch, with a grand chandelier sparkling overhead.
During her appearance on This Morning, Maura shared a little TMI moment from her time on I'm A Celebrity, revealing that she let slip how much she missed her beau Pete. She admitted: "You do forget about the cameras, and I do like to keep things private. But let's be real, I said it. I can't remember saying it, but I said the words 'I miss him'. I do miss him, like I missed all my friends and family. Honestly, he's been so supportive, honestly. I didn't know if he was still in Strictly and I'm so proud of him, he's proud of me, and I can't wait to see him when I get back."
