It's no secret that we're a big fan of former Love Islander and influencer Molly-Mae Hague's make-up and skincare routine. She's always glowing, and in a recent video with online beauty retailer LookFantastic, the mum-of-one unveils her top beauty secrets - including one 'essential' product that's on sale.
The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder usually retails for £38.50 at lookfantastic.com but has been reduced on sale to £30.80. Claiming to set make-up and deliver shine control for up to 24 hours, Molly-Mae spoke of the product in a LookFantastic YouTube clip and explained: "This is an essential for me. It's just perfect for setting my make-up but it doesn't make me look too matte."
She added: "I like quite dewy skin so this is a go-to for me."

And we can see why she loves it so much. Not only does the powder by the renowned make-up brand promise to hold your make-up in place, but also contains vitamins C and E to nourish the skin while pearl pigments in the formula give your complexion a luminous, dewy finish. But that's not all as beauty buffs love the blurring properties of this powder, stating it delivers an 'airbrushed' finish with a 'no-flashback- effect.
The translucent powder is available in three different shades and is hailed as the 'best setting powder ever' by shoppers. Backed by over 1,300 five-star reviews on Lookfantastic, the powder is described as 'elite' with one fan explaining: "This is the best setting powder ever and I swear by it! Always makes my makeup look amazing and my skin looks airbrushed. Repurchased numerous times now!"
Another shared how it "gives a lovely flawless look [and] doesn't go cakey or sit in the fine lines" - it's also said to "last ages", making it a real investment staple in your make-up bag.
While at £30 it is still a little pricier than the likes of Lottie London's £6.95 version and even Charlotte Tilbury's Flawless Finish at £21, those who rate the Laura Mercier setting powder say it's worth the money and that they 'bought it sooner'. One declared: "Would one million percent buy this again. Wanted to buy this for years but always thought it was a little expensive but it’s honestly amazing & wish I’d brought it sooner. Helps to really set your makeup areas that need it."
Another commented: "It’s lasts for so long, it’s smooth and it sets makeup perfectly. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it."
While the powder is no doubt a hit with beauty buffs on the whole, some found it slightly 'drying on the under eyes', highlighting their 'creases', with one mentioning: "Decided to give it a go [to] see what [the] miracle powder was all about. For oily skin it can be good for a few hours but not all day. If you [have] fine lines under your eyes this will definitely dry them out no matter how little I use."
That being said, those with oily-skin have said it's "the best" and helps "keep the oils on my skin at bay".
