Meghan Markle reportedly 'enjoys being centre of attention' following her grand return to social media, according to body language expert Darren Stanton. The expert also said that she is 'making her focus very clear' as she prepares for a solo career.

The Duchess of Sussex made a comeback to Instagram on New Year's Day following a break after her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018. She has now shared two posts on her official account, one featuring the trailer for her upcoming Netflix cookery show and another showing her at the beach, dressed in white and sketching 2025 in the sand.

The Duchess disclosed that she will be hosting a brand-new culinary series on Netflix called With Love, Meghan. In the teaser for the upcoming programme, Meghan can be seen in her gorgeous Californian residence, whipping up dishes with Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling, Alice Waters, alongside other renowned chefs and special guests.

Behavioural expert Darren Stanton observed that Meghan appeared "extremely confident" in her new trailer with "no signs of awkwardness", hinting at more solo projects. He also noted that Meghan seemed to enjoy being the centre of attention, as indicated by her non-verbal cues.

Speaking for Betfair Slots, the expert said: "It almost feels through this clip that Meghan is creating her own solo career, this is the beginning of a new era for her. She comes across as extremely confident with her body language, smiling a lot. She's making her focus very clear, which is doing projects on a solo basis. She doesn't come over as awkward at all; she comes across as uber-confident and excited on camera. Meghan is almost signalling that she is prepping herself for a brand-new solo career."

Darren continued: "She's enjoying the moment and being the centre of the limelight. Often we see Harry get the attention when they're together, but here, it's focused on her. We don't see any signs of fear or frustration from Meghan, she's very happy. From a non-verbal perspective, we see lots of open-palm gestures, no arms crossed or anything like that. In the trailer, she's coming across relaxed and happy, and in a state of enjoyment at being the centre of attention."

Accompanying the trailer for her new Netflix show, Meghan wrote the caption on Instagram: "I have been so excited to share this with you. I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support - and fun! As ever, Meghan."
