Prince Harry was spotted at King Charles III’s Coronation this morning, arriving for the two-hour ceremony to watch his father and stepmother Camilla be crowned.
The youngest son of the new king was spotted smiling as he headed into Westminster Abbey, walking into the church between his cousins Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, and their respective husbands.
Opting for a suit rather than military uniform, the Duke Of Sussex didn't let the British rain get him down, after touching down solo in London from his home of Los Angeles - without wife Meghan Markle.
As he walked into the abbey with his family, viewers watching live on BBC One could see Harry take his seat in the third row alongside Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank - appearing to be chatting amongst each other before the ceremony began.
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi joined them in the third row, while Mike and Zara Tindall could be seen sitting on the fourth row, alongside Peter Phillips.
The front two rows were strictly reserved for working members of the Royal Family, with the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh sitting there.
Shortly after the Royals arrived, the King and Queen, escorted by The Sovereign’s Escort of the Household Cavalry, departed Buckingham Palace in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach for Westminster Abbey - arriving into Westminster Abbey in true regal fashion.
Queen Camilla wore a tailored ivory, silver and gold coat-like gown embroidered with delicate garlands of British wildflowers - designed by Bruce Oldfield.
Beginning at 11am, after a two hour service - reduced from the huge three hour Coronation that the late Queen had 70 years ago in 1953 - the newly crowned King and Queen will return to the Palace.
The choir sang I was glad, in Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry’s celebrated setting of words from Psalm 122 which have been sung at the entrance of the monarch at every coronation since that of Charles I in 1626, as The King moved through the Abbey.
The show of support is the first time that Harry has been in a public setting with his relatives since the release of his memoir, Spare, which was published in January and went into great detail on the royal family.
With a famously rocky relationship with his father, Harry has also branded new Queen Camilla 'dangerous' during interviews.
Said to have flown into London's Heathrow on Friday morning, Harry allegedly flew with fellow travellers on an American Airlines flight, according the MailOnline.
Seemingly a flying visit, he is also thought to be headed straight to the airport following the Coronation.
A source told The Mirror: "Organisers have been told Harry won't be attending the Sunday concert with the rest of the Royal Family, which is a great shame as it will be such a spectacular event."
Harry’s appearance at his father’s coronation comes just weeks after it was confirmed that he would be attending though his wife Meghan would not, as the former actress remains at home with their two children.
Following much speculation, Buckingham Palace announced that the Duke of Sussex would travel to London for the historic occasion while Meghan would remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Announcing the news, the Palace released a statement that read: “Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May.
“The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”
While reasons for the decision have not been confirmed, today is also the couple's eldest son Prince Archie's fourth birthday, which could be the reason for Meghan's decision to stay in the US with the children.
But though Harry is attending the coronation alone, King Charles appeared to pay tribute to his you ngest son’s family in the official souvenir for his coronation which was released last month.
Among the photos printed in the programme, which went on sale on April 17 is one of the royal family celebrating Charles, then the Prince Of Wales's 70th birthday back in 2018.
In the photo, Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort can be seen joined by Princes William and Harry as well as Kate and Meghan.
Also in the family photograph are Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Despite Harry flying all the way from the US for his father’s coronation, one royal expert told OK! that although he'll be present he will be "nowhere near" the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Speaking of his decision, historian and writer Tessa Dunlop said: “If you have Harry (on the balcony) then they would have to have everyone else.”
She later added that she believed Harry “won’t be anywhere near the balcony” and that instead only working and key royals will secure a slot.
