A heartwarming moment between Prince Louis and his mum Kate Middleton was revealed in a teaser video for her Christmas carol concert. According to a lip reader, the six year old prince told Kate "we're looking out for each other" in the touching clip.
The Princess of Wales hosted the annual event at Westminster Abbey on December 6, following a challenging year of health battles, including preventative chemotherapy treatment. The teaser video, shared on The Prince and Princess of Wales' Instagram, showed a series of clips from the service and also aired on ITV1 at 7:30pm on Christmas Eve.
The event was attended by several royals, including Kate's children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, who all showed their support for the Princess. In the video, Kate emphasised the importance of kindness, forgiveness, and love beyond the festive season.

The poignant moment between Kate and Prince Louis comes after Prince William described 2024 as the "hardest year in my life" due to the family's hardships, including Prince Charles' cancer diagnosis and Kate's shocking cancer announcement. The teaser ended with a loving interaction between Kate and Louis, as he shares a reassuring message, leaving Kate beaming with pride.
The Wales' Instagram post shared a heartfelt message: "This service reflects upon the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult time of our lives. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this year's celebrations," reports the Mirror.
In the pre-recorded introduction to the Christmas carol services, Kate also shared her love for the festive season: "Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, it is a time for presents, tinsel and mince pies, but it's also a time to slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all."
She further emphasised that the themes of love and empathy should extend beyond the festive period, promoting kindness and forgiveness.
The star-studded event also boasted a guest list including presenting icons Richard and Judy, Strictly's Amy Dowden, and TV favourite Lorraine Kelly. Delivering heartfelt readings were thespian Richard E Grant, Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery, Sophie Okonedo of Hotel Rwanda fame, and Team GB's swimming hero, Adam Peaty.
And, in a gesture of profound kindness, Kate extended an invite to the child survivors of the Southport tragedy following her and Prince William's heartfelt visit with the families impacted by the horrific incident earlier this year. During a dance class themed around Taylor Swift on 29 July, three young lives, Bebe King, Elsie Dot Stancombe, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, were devastatingly lost. The Royal couple offered their condolences in private meetings with the families and their dance instructor.
