Fans of I'm A Celebrity have found what looks like a subtle rule break from one of the stars on the show. Despite strict rules about contact with the outside world, eagle-eyed watchers noted that GK Barry appeared to have sent a secret shout-out to her girlfriend by sporting a letter "E" on her fingernail.
The show's celebs are strictly prohibited from sending any messages to loved ones while in the spotlight. However, fans speculate that this discreet "E", painted in white on Grace's nail, is a nod to her partner, footballer Ella Rutherford of Ipswich Town.
One particular fan took to X: "Has anyone else noticed Grace's tiny little 'E' that she holds up to camera for Ella? Subtle and smart work GK Barry!".
GK, who has a large online following, has largely kept her relationship under wraps until recently. In August, during a birthday post for Ella on Instagram, she wrote: "Happy Birthday babe I love you more and more everyday."
GK Barry opened up about her love life on Yung Filly's podcast: "I feel like I went very wrong with men.
"I don't like men anymore. I will never go back to a man. God forbid. Yeah, I just love it.
"I just love it. I feel like I've got spring in my step. I feel like I'm glowing. It's the lesbian glow. I've got it. And yeah, that's my life update."
Chatting with her campmates on Tuesday's episode of 'I'm A Celebrity', GK got personal about her romance with partner Ella. During a heart warming moment by the fire, Dean prompted GK to share how she came out.
She said: "Obviously online I'd been like I'd slept with girls or whatever as well, but I'd only dated men."
GK opened up about falling for Ella quite unexpectedly through a friend, confessing that it was love at first sight even though she hadn't come out to her parents.
"I'd mentioned, 'Oh I'm just going to see my friend Ella' or 'I'm staying round Ella's' so they'd heard her name", she explained.
The time to come clean arrived when her parents inquired about Ella during one visit, and GK owned up: "Oh. she's my girlfriend."
Much to her relief, her parents were nothing but accepting: "They just love her, they never had an issue with it."
She joked: "To be fair I feel like the closet may have been glass! They've always said whoever you end up with we do not care, boy or girl we don't care, as long as they're not a d*ck."
Jane interjected: "All you ever want is for your kids to be happy, it doesn't matter who it's with."
Just like GK's secret message to Ella, previous series have seen other campmates trying to communicate with their loved ones while on camera.
JLS singer and This Morning presenter Marvin Humes was spotted touching his heart with his right fist whenever he was on camera - fans speculated it was his way of telling his wife, Rochelle Humes, and his children that he loves them.
EastEnders actress Danielle Harold was seen touching the brim of her hat during live broadcasts, while I'm a Celeb fans suggested that social media influencer Nella Rose was sending a message by covering her mouth with her hand when Ant and Dec called her by name.
