Work is well underway for the multi-million pound transformation of Plymouth's Victorian fort into exclusive new homes and businesses
A brand new set of CGI images have been released showing how a stunning new development at Plymouth's iconic Victorian fort could look when it is complete. Real estate and property consultants, Knight Frank, has announced the launch of Palmerston Court - the first phase of luxury homes at Bovisand Harbour.
CGI images show how Palmerston Court, a deluxe collection of six three-bedroom homes with panoramic views, will look once the development is finished. The whole development is being carried out in phases. Phase 1, Palmerston Court, is the first of four for Bovisand Harbour, the vision of ex-BBC chief Greg Dyke.
Set above a ground floor, private garage and utility area, each of the six, three-bedroom homes offer two floors of living space with an exclusive balcony providing extensive views over Bovisand Bay.
As well as new homes, Mr Dyke wants to turn Plymouth’s historic Fort Bovisand into a vibrant seafront leisure destination where people can visit by water taxi, eat in a restaurant and even watch an al fresco performance. Mr Dyke envisages creating 81 dwellings, a restaurant overlooking a revamped harbour, a visitor centre detailing the history of the site, a waterfront performance area, and he even wants to put a large statue of a sail, representing the Mayflower, on the harbour front.
The first phase is almost complete with the six three-bedroom homes now on the market.
