While some of us will be saying ‘so long’ to 2024 from the comfort of our couches on December 31, many will be heading out to celebrate the new year with an actual party. You wild and crazy things!

New Year's Party at Crowne Plaza
The Crowne Plaza on Armada Way is holding a Masquerade Ball. It starts at 7pm with a glass of fizz on arrival, a five-course dinner and music from the hotel’s resident DJ for an unforgettable end to 2024.
Spinners Plymouth
Spinners at The Barcode in Drake Circus have their own New Year’s Eve offering. Grab a drink at the bar and challenge your friends at interactive clay shooting, duckpin bowling or darts. Doors open at 6.30pm, first drink is free, and there will be live entertainment.
New Year at Home Park Stadium
Fancy celebrating NYE in an actual stadium?! Of course, you do! Experience a red-carpet arrival at 7pm, a three-course meal, live entertainment, a photo booth, and a fireworks show on the pitch (subject to weather conditions) at the home of Argyle on Mayflower Drive. You can book a table for 10 people or individual places. There is a discount for season-ticket holders and Club Argyle members.
Live music at The Roundabout with Land of the Giants
Spend your New Year’s Eve with some giants - Land of the Giants, that is, the raucous six-piece renowned for their feel-good, highly addictive shows. Head to the popular Roundabout Pub in Drake Circus to watch Pogo Presents: Live Music New Year's Eve with Land of the Giants.
Duke of Cornwall Hotel
Welcome in the New Year at the Duke of Cornwall Hotel on Millbay Road. Start the evening at 7pm with a welcome aperitif, then enjoy a delightful dinner at 7.30pm followed by music from the resident DJ. As the clock strikes midnight, toast to the New Year with a glass of bubbly.
Go for a Walkabout on New Year's Eve
Make this New Year's Eve a night to remember with a special party at Walkabout on Union Street. Head to the venue for 9pm and you can experience an enchanted snowfall, a stunning laser show, confetti cannons, an epic CO2 show, a midnight balloon drop and much more.
Pinktopia New Year's Eve at Boom Battle Bar
Boom Battle Bar in Plymouth's Barcode is set to transform into a pink utopia for a second year running. Their website states: "We’re talking an all pink drinks menu, banging vibes and our fave live DJ and entertainers. You don’t have to wear pink but we sure do encourage it. We’ll be partying from 6:30pm until LATE. You love to see it." Doors open at 6.30pm and standard tickets cost £12pp.
The Big New Year's Party at The Loft
Dance your way into 2025 at Heyday's Big New Year's Eve Party. Head to The Loft on Vauxhall Quay for a New Year's Eve celebration. Bid farewell to the old year with timeless vinyl classics to keep you grooving all night long. Arrive before 9pm to claim your free welcome drink. At midnight, raise your complimentary glass of Prosecco and toast to a new year full of possibilities.
Vive la Revolution!
Countdown to New Year at Revolution. Get your tickets before they disappear for this popular event at the club on Derry's Cross and dance along to club anthems, hip-hop, house music and more.
Glitz, glamour and mystery at Boringdon Hall
Join Boringdon for a sensational Masquerade Ball to mark the start of 2025. Start with a Champagne reception in the Great Hall and pre-dinner live jazz, before tucking into an exquisite four-course a la carte meal followed by music from The Remarkable along with a Champagne toast to finish the evening and welcome in 2025.
Kickstart 2025 in style at Ocean View

Join Union Street’s Popworld for an unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration that will have you dancing, laughing, and toasting your way into 2025. This is sure to be an evening filled with great music, festive vibes, and plenty of surprises. The dress code is glitz and glam, and with live DJs, signature cocktails, and a midnight confetti drop, it’s sure to be both.
Look to the future at Future Inn
A fitting venue name for a celebration of the future at the hotel on William Prance Road. Start the night with a buffet dinner and then party away with the hotel’s resident DJ. See in 2025 with a glass of bubbles at midnight.
Fever pitch celebrations
Get ready for a wonderful Vegas-style New Year’s Eve party at Fever Plymouth on Derry's Cross. Say goodbye to 2024 and welcome 2025 with a night packed with electrifying music and dazzling lights. There will also be a red carpet entrance, dancers and crowd performers, a photographer and videographer, and a big screen countdown.
