For the past several weeks, Jessica Alba has been spotted out and about without her wedding ring on — most recently at a pre–Golden Globes party in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, are going through more than a rocky patch. The tabloid’s sources claim the couple is officially separated and will soon file for divorce.
Alba and Warren met in 2004 on the set of Fantastic Four. She was acting in the film; he was assistant directing. They got married in 2008 and share three children: Honor, 16; Haven, 13; and Hayes, 7. Warren is the co-founder of socks-and-underwear brand Pair of Thieves, and up until recently, he and Alba both ran companies whose products are sold at Target. But in April of last year, Alba stepped down from her personal-care brand, the Honest Company, saying she planned to “shift her energy to new endeavors.”
Neither she nor Warren has commented on their relationship status, but in her New Year’s Instagram post, Alba shared several inspirational quotes relating to change and leaving things behind, writing, “Here’s to a colorful past year that was filled with connection, growth, adventures, laughter, peace, sisterhood, transformation, rebirth, joy and so much love.” Still, she included Warren in family photos from the holidays, so it seems like things are amicable. If TMZ is right, perhaps we can expect relatively chill, J.Lo and Ben Affleck–style divorce proceedings. Here’s hoping!
