British Fashion Awards 2024: The Best Red-Carpet Looks
On Monday, London’s Royal Albert Hall was buzzing with the biggest names in fashion for the 2024 Fashion Awards, hosted by the British Fashion Council and presented by Pandora. This year, Tom Ford was given the Outstanding Achievement Award, while Issa Rae was honored with the Pandora Leader of Change Award. And that’s not all. Alex Consani took home Model of the Year, making her the first trans model to do so. As for the night’s biggest award, Designer of the Year went to Jonathan Anderson for Loewe and JW Anderson.
Notable nominees also included Miuccia Prada for Prada, John Galliano for Maison Margiela, Chemena Kamali for Chloé, Rick Owens for Rick Owens, and Pieter Mulier for Alaïa. And that’s not to mention all the celebrities in attendance, including Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, Jodie Turner-Smith, Nicola Coughlan, Anok Yai, Julia Fox, Halle Bailey, Caroline Polachek, and Venus Williams. Plus, other winners included Grace Wales Bonner for Wales Bonner, Simone Rocha for Simone Rocha, Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena for Chopova Lowena, and Marco Capaldo for 16Arlington.
