The check-in process was speedy and efficient; we were soon showed to our rooms after only a few minutes of waiting. The rooms were cosy and homey, and the breakfast is decent taste wise with a wide and healthy selection of different cuisines. Overall, this was a wonderful experience with exceptional service. I recently stayed at the GreenTree Eastern Hotel in Nanjing and found it to be an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel is located at Nanjing airport some 10 min walk if you walk quickly or just 15 minutes normal speed, which is nice after or before a flight to stretch your legs and get some air. The hotel also offers free pick-up and drop-off service which is very convenient for early departures. The room is decent size and my room had seat in front of the window as well as work space and a comfortable bed. The room was clean as was the bathroom, had nice shower. bathrobe and slippers provided. Wifi was good, small shop downstairs for drink and snacks. Did not check out other services provided as I had an early flight. Very handy for airport and comfortable stay definitely return if I arrive late or depart early from Nanjing.

I booked for 5 nights. When I checked in, they gave me a room that looked completely different from the images. It was very dark and small. Also, the carpet was dirty and had hair on it. After two nights, I checked my booking again and noticed the huge difference. I went to the reception and showed them the photos. They then changed the room. The room I got then was exactly the type I booked. Please take a look at the photos I uploaded here, you will see the enormous difference! I find it extremely inappropriate to give me this TERRIBLE room when I book for 5 (!) nights. They seriously gave me the worst room of the entire hotel and didn’t care at all. Check the photos and judge by yourself! Positive things: the location is great, directly in the city center.

Hotel When we originally planned to travel to Nanjing from Taiwan, we saw that all the rooms were triple rooms (one with a large bed and one with a small bed). We were worried that the rooms would not be enough, so we specially booked 2 triple rooms. However, we hoped that the whole family could stay in the same room. After inquiring by phone, the hotel was very straightforward and said that we could stay in a triple room without any additional charge, and the room was big enough (they were also very considerate and said that we could save the accommodation fee and not waste money). Then, we were worried that the bed was not big enough, after all, the child was older, so I specially brought an inflatable mattress (I didn’t use it at all after arriving at the hotel, but fortunately the bed was big enough for sleeping and the space was big enough); finally, we were very afraid of stepping on a thunder, there were not many reviews about it, and some were good and some were bad. The point is that we were in the downtown area of ​​Nanjing (next to the Confucius Temple on the Qinhuai River), and the 3-person room with breakfast was less than NT$2,000 per night (we stayed for five nights, checked out from Saturday to Thursday morning, and two days were holidays!). I recently stayed at this budget-friendly hotel, drawn by its affordable rates and convenient location just a 2-minute walk fromthe popular Tang Shan Street tourist spot. While the hotel was averagely clean, it lacked few amenities that travelers might expect. Communication was a bit challenging as the staff did not speak English, but they were friendly and did their best to assist. Overall, it's a decent optionfor those on a tight budget looking for a no-frills place to staynear the tourist attractions.

The hotel is very nice. We are lucky to be upgraded to a suite with extra space. Staff are friendly and helpful. If I have to be picky, it’s not too close to the attractions of Suzhou. But with the excellent coverage of their online can order app, everywhere can be reached within 20mins under or around 20RMB, so it didn’t bother us too much. And just one thing, the live TV is weirdly with lagging as if the signals are from the internet. But if u don’t watch tv or do a smart device casting, it’s fine. (Just we were watching the French Open final so the picture lags were a bit disturbing lol) Overall it was very very nice :)

Some small disappointment is a view that can’t see much thing even I’m on higher floor because it faced to the other side, while I booked this hotel with expectation to see Pants Tower. (Suzhou Center) The location is not very close to public transportation. I walked from metro, quite far. So when I return, I took Didi to train station instead. Surrounded with construction. So not sure when those construction will be completed in the future. Oh! And one worst thing is the air conditioning in autumn. Even though it’s cold outside the building, but in the room, without air conditioning and ventilation, it’s too hot and difficult to breathe. I asked for some help so I received a small fan that can help a bit. But still not comfortable to sleep. At least if I can open the window a bit, it will be much better. What I like most here is the lobby decoration that’s full of books. Breakfast is various and nice, too.

Service staff was attentive to our requirement knew what we wanted. The room size was great with built in washer and dryer. The entire experience was unforgettable and worth talking about. The location was fantastic with teh railway station and metro across the road from the hotel. Will definitely book this hotel again.

You can ask for free bottle of mineral water from the front desk before you start exploring Nanjing. Self Serving drinks and tidbits also available when you return to the hotel. Xinjiekou underpass shoplots with 24 exits access to the MRT is 200 m from the hotel

The Madison hotel 美仑酒店 is outstanding. While the rooms are starting to age, the service far outpaces any inconvenience due to the room conditions. The manager upgraded me to a larger room that had just been renovated for no extra charge and delivered caring service. He upgraded my room right when a swarm of guests, who all likely booked more expensive rooms that I did, entered the lobby. Yet, the manager prioritized me. That is not to say the older rooms are dirty or uncomfortable, the bedrooms are great, it’s just the bathrooms were due for upgrades during my stay. The service staff responds to requests thoroughly and the front desk staff is genuinely helpful and warm. They helped me look for cheaper booking methods for my reservation and let me check in early. My next trip to 南京 will center around 美仑 again.

A cute hotel with a lovely Korean district right below! So close to the metro station! The room was generally clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend given the price!

Enjoyed our stay here! Walkable distance from metro station. Some nice food downstairs (especially the xlb store). Hotel checked us in when we reached early. Service from the ladies at the reception was very good, fast delivery when requested for items to room as well. Free washing machine and dryers provided. When there was a queue for it, hotel sent a staff to help with the washing and drying. Very very good service! One thing that can be improved is the air conditioning. Booked 2 rooms, aircon in 1 room was faulty and checked room the 2nd night but that room had cigarette smell (inconsiderate guest). Reception applologied and sent us back with gift. Would definitely consider staying again when I'm back here!

Excellent service. My child choked the toilet at night, a front desk staff helped clean up and adamantly refused a tip. Tried to tip again at checkout, a different staff refused too. Staff were patient with instructions and advice for standard questions, surpass expectations for help extended for my parcel deliveries.

The hotel is super clean, smells nice. Bed is super comfortable and room is nicely designed with automatic curtains. Housekeeping ladies are super kind and did a wonderful job. Some Front desk personnel might not speak English but you can use a translator app, they are very patient and nice. Hotel is conveniently located, few steps from Nanchang road and 10 mins taxi from railway station.

The front desk was very welcoming. During the May Day holiday, there were many people and they upgraded our room type for free. We were arranged a non-smoking room, which was not noisy at night and very quiet! It is very convenient to get around next to the subway. The hotel also has a travel guide, which is very thoughtful. There is a square around, which is very convenient for eating and shopping.

We chose this hotel as it's near Wuxi East Station high speed rail. It's about 9 mins smooth walk as the area is newly developed that's barrier free. Room was clean, service was good. There's nothing much in the area though. It's only 3 mins walk to the train station which is so convenient connecting us to the touristy areas.
