Trip.com User: The Nusa Penida area is known for great coastal views . it also has one beach which is currently ranked number two in the entire world . i highly recommend going to number two beach though you need to make a short hike down to beach level. it is worth the walk . The beaches here are generally not croweded as you can only access this area by boat. this makes it very relaxing as the beaches on Bali Isaland are way too crowded. You will need a driver or motorcycle to get around this area. be aware the roads in this area are narrow and often not complete.

Trip.com User: Nusa Penida was absolutely incredible! I was lucky to find a really good deal for the day trip there and I loved every bit of it. It’s a bit of a long ride by car after you get to the island (over 2 hours) and it’s usually super hot (take sunscreen, I did still got burnt alot) but the scenery that awaits you are truly amazing! we visited 5 different spots then headed back to the pier, the last boat leaves at 16:30 or so I was told.

samresh: We visited this Beratan Lake (some call it Bedugul Lake because it is located in Bedugul) in late Dec-2020 during Covid pandemic. It took 1,5 hours drive from Seminyak area to Bedugul. The temple is situated on the banks of the lake. A very nice and scenic temple, it is pictured on the IDR50.000 bill. The lake is so calm, and the temperature is cool. The temple is said to be Hindu temple, but there are also Buddha stupas, indicating the harmony between the religions in the past. Visitors can rent boat or speedboat to go around the lake. Entrance fee is Rp.30.000/person, but they also offer a package which includes drink and meals in the restaurant inside the park.

GiaTia065: Lake Bratan’s temple, called Pura Ulun Danu Bratan and also known as the Floating Temple, is one of the most mesmerizing temples in Bali.
