Ticket Price: 30 GBP

Recommended Length of Stay: 1-1 Hours

The London Eye is also known as the Millennium Wheel and was built to usher in the new millennium. This giant ferris wheel sits on the South Bank of the River Thames and has become one of the London skyline's landmarks. It is currently the most popular tourist attraction in London, hosting over 3.75 million visitors every year. Sitting in a capsule on The London Eye, visitors enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the city of London spread out below. Once night begins to fall, the area surrounding the Eye transforms into a fantastical dreamscape. Taking a ride in The London Eye at sunset paints an unforgettable picture of the gorgeous city.

Reviews from Real Guests:

K-TravelMuse: Fantastic staff and attraction. Very convenient location and easy access. This is a very busy area, but it is well signed and easy to navigate. There are many services on site and you can enjoy the surroundings before and after the ride. The ride itself is fantastic and offers wonderful views of London - especially if you are a picture taker. The pricing is reasonable and you can also bundle with other attractions. We did find this a bit confusing, until we were helped by a friendly staff member. You do have to watch times as they gave us a tight connection to the next attraction - no worries though as there was a wait time there. Well worth the time and cost

Ticket Price: 26.5 GBP

Recommended Length of Stay: 2-3 Hours

Location: London SW1A 1AA, UK

Buckingham Palace has been the official residence of the British royal family since the 19th century. Currently, it is the London location in which the Queen spends most of her time. The palace is splendid both inside and outside. Some of the more than 600 rooms in the palace include the Throne Room, White Drawing Room, Ballroom and Picture Gallery. At the gates of Buckingham Palace, the Changing the Guard (or Guard Mounting) ceremony by the Queen's Guard takes place at 11 a.m. most days of the week. It attracts and interests tourists from around the world. Marching with great pomp and precision to military music and shouted orders, the guards—dressed in traditional red coats and bearskin hats—do a drill performance and salute.

Reviews from Real Guests:

K-TravelMuse: A must visit place for anyone visiting London. The surroundings are very quiet. The fact that the guards are moving around is something to look forward to. Visiting is completely free of charge. Because it's so spectacular. As far as I know this palace is the palace of the Queen. The palace complex is located on a large plot of land. Also, the park around Buckingham Palace will soothe your mind. This is a very valuable opportunity to visit.

Benshi: Queen Victoria was the first English royal to live at Buckingham Palace! There are over 700 rooms throughout the palace - 52 royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms, 78 bathrooms and 19 staterooms. Buckingham Palace is a functioning royal residence, throwing its doors open to the public isn't always practical. That's why they only open up during the summer months when Queen Elizabeth heads off to Scotland!

Tower Bridge

Opening Hours: Open from 9:30am-5:00pm

Ticket Price: 10.6 GBP

Recommended Length of Stay: 1-3 Hours

The London Tower Bridge is one of London's iconic landmark structures. It is a bascule and suspension bridge that crosses the mighty Thames. It is also a drawbridge. The two bascules can lift to an angle of 86 degrees to let river traffic to pass. On a visit to the The London Tower Bridge, you can stand with the Thames at your back for an unforgettable photo, or you can slowly stroll along the bridge's high-level pedestrian walkways while gazing out at the scenery on either bank of the river.

Reviews from Real Guests:

Ramdan993: Tower Bridge is a Grade I listed combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, built between 1886 and 1894, designed by Horace Jones and engineered by John Wolfe Barry with the help of Henry Marc Brunel.[1] It crosses the River Thames close to the Tower of London and is one of five London bridges owned and maintained by the Bridge House Estates, a charitable trust founded in 1282. The bridge was constructed to give better access to the East End of London, which had expanded its commercial potential in the 19th century. The bridge was opened by Edward, Prince of Wales and Alexandra, Princess of Wales in 1894. The bridge is 800 feet (240 m) in length and consists of two 213-foot (65 m) bridge towers connected at the upper level by two horizontal walkways, and a central pair of bascules that can open to allow shipping. Originally hydraulically powered, the operating mechanism was converted to an electro-hydraulic system in 1972. The bridge is part of the A100[2] London Inner Ring Road and thus the boundary of the London congestion charge zone, and remains an important traffic route with 40,000 crossings every day.

Raed Alhaji: Tower Bridge is a Grade I listed combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, built between 1886 and 1894, designed by Horace Jones and engineered by John Wolfe Barry with the help of Henry Marc Brunel. The bridge was completed in 1894. It is about 240 metres (800 feet) in length and provides an opening 76 metres (250 feet) wide. Its twin towers rise 61 metres (200 feet) above the Thames. Between the towers stretch a pair of glass-covered walkways that are popular among tourists. The walkways were originally designed to allow pedestrians to cross even while the bridge was raised, but they became hangouts for prostitutes and thieves and so were closed from 1909 to 1982. The Tower Bridge was operated by hydraulic pumps driven by steam until 1976, when electric motors were put into operation; the steam power system is still kept (in good repair) as a tourist display. Because of the reduction in shipping at the London Docklands, however, the leaves are now seldom raised.

Trip.com User: First of all in order to enter in a low cost if you are a tourist, make sure you have the London Explorer pass that grants you free access to a specific amount of attractions. With this pass we had a fast pass entry to the Abbey, which did not really have such a long line or waiting time, compared to other touristic places in London.
