Front Desk Shante was a delight!! EVERYTHING a guest needed to know about the hotel and surrounding eateries was right there! I showed up road weary and was greeted with a beaming smile, fantastic disposition, and unchallenged professionalism. The room was clean, quiet, loaded with the necessary amenities and downright comfortable. The proximity to the Capital was a huge plus for a Monday morning commute!!

Nice and quiet off the road with plenty of dining options within walking distance. Breakfast was adequate and when they ran out of food (breakfast only until 9:30am every day) they were quick to refill. The commons areas were always clean. Staff friendly and willing to help. Check out via mobile device was very convenient

I was extremely upset to see a movie with nudity and a scene of a nude man and a woman having sex (AKA porn) on the lobby / breakfast room television. I was even more upset when after asking the the manager, Diana, to change the channel she came into the area and I instead of just changing the channel to something more appropriate, asked the man seated behind me if it was okay for her to change the channel as if something like that was up for a vote among guests instead of hotel policy. To say I was angry at the way she mis-handled this would be an understatement . Despite the fact I stayed at this Hampton at least a half dozen times last year or so , I won’t be returning. Keep porn off public televisions and teach managers how to deal with matters of corporate policy would be my suggestion Hampton/Hilton. Otherwise the location is good and the rooms are clean. Too bad they allow unclean programming to be played on their television in the public area. Thankfully no children were in there at the time this occurred.

The rooms are clean and spacious.. I love that it has a full sized fridge and cooking range and microwave.. the laundry room uses an app to pay which is very convenient.. drink and snack machines both take cards .. and are always well stocked.. the hallways and common areas are well kept and clean .. and the price is very affordable for a traveling worker on a buget .. they desk ladies are extremely nice and helpful with any questions I asked .. Bridget and Deb were very professional and greet you every time they can .. it’s nice and makes a customer feel at home .. over I recommend if your looking in the south and central Austin area .. this place gives you the best bang for you buck ..

Located about 30 min from the airport and 20 min from downtown Austin, not the most centrally located for going to Austin, but plenty of things to do nearby. This fairfield is definitely not the newest, decent size lobby, efficient enough check-in. Parking lot is nicely sized so no issues there. Oh, breakfast is always decent Marriott budget solid - really enjoy the waffles. Rooms are typical budget fairfield - somewhat thin sheets, comfortable enough bed. Rooms are actually decently spacious, bathroom is small but usable. Didn't have too much noise at night keeping me up so isolated well enough (but also not super busy when I went). Wi-fi worked well.
