Contacted the hotel prior to our stay and there was no reply whatsoever. It was my birthday and there was absolutely no acknowledgment from the reception staff, even when I told them it was my birthday and they were holding my passport in their hands upon check-in. Pool staff was nice but the lounge chairs area were swarmed by tiny black insects, it was not very relaxing sitting by the pool. Restaurant staff was very nice but unfortunately the food was very mediocre. Overall definitely not worth the 40 mins drive from Seville to come stay here, the view from the room balcony was amazing due to the hotel’s location, but I was really disappointed with this birthday stay.

The hotel is a converted castle with Moorish architectural style. The courtyard is beautiful, and the mosaics and arches in the corridors make you feel like you are traveling through time and space.

Superb location. Excellent breakfast!
