Xishangyue B&B

I went from Dazu to Anyue to see the stone carvings. I like staying in B&Bs and accidentally met Xishangyue. I didn’t expect there to be such a beautiful place in the mountains~ The entire courtyard is well-kept by the hostess, and the furnishings in the room are very aesthetically pleasing. Two cats appear like elves at the top of the stairs, and among the flowers... Picture 2 shows the wild flowers picked by the host from the mountains that day. They are so beautiful. The starry sky, the chirping of insects, and the sound of the stream at night are so pleasant! The point is, the food cooked by the shopkeeper is so delicious. I especially recommend the local chicken soup. I almost cried after eating it T﹏T

It was a surprise to come across Xishangyue B&B on this trip! I wanted to go to Dazu to see the stone carvings, so I searched for a high-scoring B&B on Ctrip, and Xi Shang Yue surfaced like this. Although it is an hour away from the Dazu Rock Carvings, I read the reviews from previous guests and it was very attractive, so I decided to stay here for one night. The journey here has not been smooth. The village road meets the mountain road, and it is difficult to pronounce this word! Looking at the pastoral scenery and various private houses on both sides, I thought to myself that I was going the wrong way, right? I always feel that the style of Xishangyue in the photo is completely different from the houses on this road. Do they really belong here? Finally, I saw Xi Shangyue's true face, hidden among the green surroundings, and felt a little more at ease. The beautiful boss saw us and enthusiastically took us to the room and upgraded us to a room with a balcony. Entering the house, my wife repeatedly praised the boss as a person of good taste. The decoration is simple but not simple, and everything is convenient and warm. The boss gave a few instructions and went to work on making dinner. Because I specifically told the boss that I wanted to eat crucian carp before coming here, I didn’t expect that the boss actually caught the fish (it’s not convenient to buy things in the mountains, so most of the vegetables are grown by the boss himself and the fish he catches). After visiting and taking photos, we had our long-awaited dinner, pumpkin and mung bean soup, braised pork ribs with potatoes, pickled crucian carp and fried bitter gourd. The dishes are not too many, the portions are not small, and the taste is very surprising, especially the pork ribs, which are so delicious that I even ordered an extra portion! I slept until noon and then had lunch before leaving with satisfaction. I made an appointment with a friend to try it again in September!
