Hotel with extraordinary facilities

​​​​​ The room is spacious. I stayed in 4 cities and this hotel is the biggest. Breakfast is plentiful. There is another café as well as the main dining room on the ground level. Layout of the bathroom is a bit strange. There is no ​door of ​shower cubicle. The water will flow into the floor from the shower booth. ​Right after we checked in, I took a very quick shower. Still the water went outside of the shower cubicle. After me, another took a proper shower, the ​entire floor of the bathroom ​got​ wet. I think the floor should be a bit slanted​ and water must be flooding from the shower cubicle itself. Water barrier must not be equipped properly. ​You can expect the following in the room; ​ - Wi-Fi - Complimentary water and drink - TV - AC - Mini fridge ​ - safe​ ​ - room service​ There is a hypermarket in walking distance​ but they are closed around 1100 or 1200 for praying, check their opening time.​ Our group went to an Egyptian eatery nearby for dinner. It seems like there is a Syrian restaurant as well. Hotel reception doesn’t exchange currency. Prepare enough local currency if you don’t want to use your CC. ​There is a swimming pool on the rooftop. The view is ​good, you may want to go up to check. There is gym as well

If you’re a frequent business traveler like me, choosing the right hotel without compromising on your loyalty points is always a challenge, especially in cities, where there aren’t enough good hotels to begin with, which is the case with Jeddah. However, I think you’ll be able to get both at Shangri-La Jeddah. Hotel staff were nice and accommodating. The hotel was little outdated for my liking and wasn't too keen on the room amenities. The location was good and I enjoyed the 93rd National day festive celebrations.

The front desk service is very good, the room has been upgraded, the breakfast is not bad, there is free parking, the room is spacious enough, the price is moderate, suitable for business travel, I will choose this hotel next time I come to Jeddah for a business trip!

Amazing gym with all the equipment you need with a nice city view the membership is 2500SR/year if you want to pay monthly and 2000SR if you pay 6 months in advance I recommend it 100% nice staff with an amazing smile always.

Breakfast is great. Rooms more than comfortable. Bathroom is great and always clean. Pool is small but completely sufficient. Fitness room is great. Service is perfect. I can highly recommend the hotel. Will definitely come back!! Oh, the parking garage is free, great. The room is very quiet.
