Location was a little far from the town center (approx 25 minutes), but it was quiet and near a mountain. I couldn’t find much reviews on the hot springs room. The person hot springs is not as private as you think. Unfortunately, as we didn’t book a villa, the room above us could easily look into our hot springs or walk over to look at us. Would recommend to bring a bathing suit. Take note that the water temperature is above a degree lower as compared to the onsens jn Japan. The room itself was lovely and clean, the reception allowed us to have a slightly later check out timing. Overall, would recommend for its price point, and was a much more comfortable stay compared to boutique hotels.

The stay was great. Hotel staff were the best part. Everyone was friendly and trying to help, beyond what's required of them. Housekeeper Sisi went above and beyond to ensure we are not lost as foreigners, and even offered to use her private meituan account to get us food when we couldn't create an account.

Good and big rooms . Small goodie bags every night. Need to improve the breakfast quality.

Location is serene and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing getaway. You can easily take a car into the ancient city (＜10 mins) so distance is not a big deal. Room is clean and spacious, we liked the private hot spring to unwind in after a long day exploring Dali. The best experience here was the excellent service and assistance rendered by Judy. She went above and beyond her job scope to help us get in and around Dali, including arranging for transportation, booking of activities and restaurants, planning of itinerary etc. This was especially helpful as we are foreigners with no Chinese phone number, hence certain functions in various apps are restricted. Thank you Judy for making our holiday such a pleasant experience!

I just picked it randomly but it exceeded my expectations! Calling it a hotel is really a subtle way of saying it. It's a huge resort. They also upgraded our room so that we can see the sunrise (although it's blocked). When you turn down the bed, they will put an oral liquid in it. I was uncomfortable and couldn't sleep that day, so I drank it and felt better. The hotel is next to the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple. It takes a few minutes by taxi. I went for a walk before leaving to kill some time.

Hygiene: The overall hygiene is very clean, and the towels are changed every day, which is very tidy. Environment: I recommend the courtyard twin room, which is very convenient for family travel. The hotel exceeded expectations! The hotel upgraded the room type with a courtyard because we were traveling with a baby. The breakfast was also rich and the service was in place. It is very suitable for families with children who are not convenient to choose a homestay.

I came to Dali for a stroll during the winter solstice holiday and chose to stay in this hotel. (They also gave me dumplings🥟, which was quite atmospheric...) You can see the sunrise and Erhai Lake from the room, the breakfast is rich, the butler service is very good, the hotel owner is very tasteful and generous, and the elevators are all German and Swiss brands.

The hotel at the foot of Cangshan Mountain completely exceeded my expectations. The environment in the hotel park is very good and quiet. If you drive, you can park directly on the roadside, which is very convenient. The room is very large and clean, and there is also a terrace. It is very comfortable to bask in the sun and watch Erhai Lake. The service awareness and service attitude of the staff are very good. The only drawback is that the breakfast is a little worse, with fewer choices, and the buffet will be changed to a set meal according to the number of guests staying in the hotel.
