GGuest UserThe very high level of personal service at the Europaeischer Hof Heidelberg could not be any better. It's very consistent and makes any trip to Heidelberg more relaxing and fun. My first choice for any overnight stay in Heidelberg and I can highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there - CVID permitting - hopefully soon.

GGuest UserOne of or if not the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Amazing staff who let us store our bags as we arrived early and gave us great recommendations of what to do in town, things we otherwise never would have know about. Location is prime, right in the heart of town and under the Schloss. The hostel is in an odd house and has an extremely warm and homely feeling. Has amazing décor in the common room with old photos of travelers, book swaps and maps showing where past travelers have come from. Kitchen is also great, has many amenities and once again has an awesome feel to it. Bathrooms were of a very high standard. Free breakfast was amazing too. Rooms also has lockers. I would kill to be back here. Would 100% go back to Heidelberg and Lottes.

GGuest UserWe were so glad to see this fully renovated hotel open in time for our visit to the Heidelberg Christmas Market (original opening date was projected for the end of December). The Hilton Heidelberg is an incredible facility, surpassed only by the amazing team working to provide the best possible experience! We have never been so graciously welcomed by so many on the team, including the General Manager, Remmie. Margarita and Katerina took great care of us during check in and were even able to upgrade us to a Junior Suite - what a welcome surprise! After settling in to our room, we had the pleasure of meeting Lubeth in the Executive Lounge who took care of every need and made us feel so welcome - always with a smile! The management team is definitely committed to hiring the best, but they are also clearly committed to leading by example. Vladimir (the restaurant manager) made a point of introducing himself and checking to be sure we were enjoying our stay and Sonja was so gracious when we were visiting the restaurant. Brent stopped by while we were in the Executive Lounge to be sure we were enjoying our visit and asked if there was anything he could do to help. Tim (a Heidelberg local) took time to share some of his favorite spots around town, as well as the hotel amenities and make sure we made the most of our time in town! I cannot remember another hotel stay where I could name more than 1-2 people on the staff - this team truly made us feel welcomed and valued! Thank you for a such a great experience!

GGuest UserOverall a very fine hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good location if you are planning on traveling by train or FlixBus since you are very close to their stations. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and well operated. We also ate once for dinner ate at the hotel restaurant and the hamburgers and fries are exceptional. (We had young adults in our group.) The Executive Lounge has a great view of the river if you have access. One warning. If you need an accessible bathroom, this is NOT the place for you. The showers are old school in a high wall bath tub. The other caution is the location is not adjacent to the Old Town. You may need to use buses, trams, or Uber/taxicab.

Stayed here with family in May 2024. Very nice hotel, tastefully decorated. We stayed in the annexe, just 50m from the hotel in a very large room. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Hotel is a 20 min walk to the old town but as hotel is close to the river we took our stroll that way. Highly recommended, we would stay there again.

GGuest UserStrategic location right in the heart of the town. Did not get breakfast but there is a supermart within walking distance and managed to get some sundries. Railway station just beside the hotel but was not noisy. Room sound proofing is very effective. A Burger King restaurant attached to the railway station. Room and bed are comfortable. Good ambience. Parking garage is shared with Intercity Hotel and does get a bit confusing because there designated zones. Spaces are limited. So, good luck with finding a spot.

We love all things in the room. all well. room with balcony, aircond, smart home functions, big flat tv with nexflix, coffee machine, kitchen & utensils. its complete like a studio house. The receptionist also so friendly. there is mistakes from Trip.Com state check out time at 12 but actually is at 11. then we not ready because we think the time was at 12. then they came & gave us time to check out. all so good for sure we will come again to this hotel.

The room is more spacious. Compared with the hotels in Frankfurt, the heating in the room is sufficient. The front desk of the hotel has bread and coffee every day, which can be taken for free. The croissants are delicious;
The hotel breakfast is 10EUR/person, which is not suitable for the Chinese stomach and the variety is barren; there is a dining cart on the road in front of the hotel, and the roasted chicken legs are not bad, 2 euros apiece.

GGuest UserThis hotel is in an historic building. The ceilings are high and our room was a deluxe double and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of foods--from fresh baked bread, to make your own waffles, to cheeses, eggs and other foods. The staff at the buffet was very helpful and lovely. The hotel is well located just a few blocks from the Alstadt (old city) and it was easy to walk everywhere from there. It's also right next to the bus/tram station. However, a few things you need to know before you book this hotel. 1) The reception desk is only staffed until early evening. 2) Housekeeping is sporadic. We were there for 6 nights and the room was only cleaned once. 3) There is no air conditioning. We had a fan in the room and opened the windows and it was bearable at night, but not super cool. On a very hot day or night this could really be an issue. 4) With the windows open, it is really noisy, particularly because the bus and tram station is right across the street. 5) There is no shampoo or conditioner provided--only hand soap at the sink and body soap in the shower. However, there's a drug store across the street where you can get what you need. 6) There are small sets of stairs that you may have to go up and down on the floor where the rooms are. If you have mobility issues, try to ask about this when you book so that you get a room where this won't be an issue. We had a very nice stay, but those are things I would have liked to know before I booked, so I thought I'd include them in a review.

Next to the sink that was, instead, in the room, there was not a hook or a nail of any kind on which to hang the towels, towels that on the second day were changed only upon strong insistence. At a certain hour the staff disappeared and you were left alone in the building without the possibility of asking for help from someone in case of need, also because the room did not have a telephone. Breakfast was abundant only on the first day (which was Sunday) the next morning, in fact, they went on with what was left. The television never worked, despite the assurance of a repair that never took place. To reimburse this last inconvenience, they offered an offensive refund of €5! The only expression that can give an idea of the stay in this hotel is this: disgusting. The toilet was located in a very narrow position and the flushing was done in a haphazard manner. The toilet must be placed in a further position and the spraying will be carried out. Without the Washbecken, these allerdings in the Zimmer befand, gab es weder einen Haken noch einen Nagel, an dem man die Handtücher aufhängen konnte, die am zweiten Tag only auf starkes Drängen gewechselt wurden. Zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt verschwand das Personal und man blieb allein der Struktur zurück, ohne die Möglichkeit, im Bedarfsfall jemanden um Hilfe zu bitten, also weil das Zimmer kein Telefon hatte. The Frühstück war nur am ersten Tag (Sonntag) reichlich und am nächsten Morgen machten wir tatsächlich mit dem Rest weiter. Der Fernseher funktionierte nie, trotz der Versicherung einer Repair, die nie stattgefunden hat. Um diese letzte Unannehmlichkeit zu kompensieren, boten sie eine offensive Rückerstattung von 5 € an!
