Excellent
松香蕊蕊🚗 Transportation: Take a taxi to the airport for 450 pesos per person, on a very beautiful small peninsula, 25 minutes from the airport by car. 🧹 Hygiene: Impeccable, the yard is even clean 🍃Environment: Each one is a single-family villa with a private small swimming pool, with good privacy. The bay view is already beautiful and very good value. 🔔Service: 24-hour room service, call the golf cart in the park anytime, anywhere. The Thai restaurant is worth trying. The fish soup really has the taste of grandma. The restaurant can watch the sunset and unforgettable scenery. The best hotel in Acapulco without a doubt, deserves 5 stars.

GGuest UserThe room they gave us was on a floor that was undergoing maintenance, they made noise from repairs early and it was very annoying. The view that we had was towards some tennis courts and a rather neglected apartment building, which does not belong to the hotel, which greatly detracted from our experience. The furniture in the room in general is old, before there were utensils in the small kitchen, now there is nothing, they even removed the refrigerator, they only left the microwave. The wifi was too slow, they did not load social networks, the cleaning was regular since they did not sweep the room, they only limited themselves to making the bed. The service in the pools is sooooo slow, they have few waiters despite it being high season, and the sheets that cover the pool beds are worn and old. The pool towel service gives you one per day per person, and you cannot ask to have it changed for a dry one, you will have to keep the same one until the next day. The positive was the proximity and excellent location right in the center of the bay of Acapulco, opposite there is a shopping center with restaurants and shops. A few steps away a souvenir and handicraft market. And if you want to order food or any service through apps, it arrives at the hotel entrance in minutes. The pools are fine, although they could improve their cleanliness, since the water looks quite cloudy, especially in the adult pool, which is a great advantage if you are not traveling with children and want to relax.

The rooms were good but bathtubs and showers show signs of being old. Parking your car cost 70 pesos per night. We only had room service on some snacks and the chips were stale. Has a very small beach area that is clean and enjoyable. The pools are very nice. No wash cloths, so if from the U.S. make sure you bring something to wash yourself, something other than your hand. The refrigerator in the room is locked so I don't really understand how you are to use it, but they come daily and unlock it and count everything to see if you are eating or drinking from it. Weird! Nice but out of the way and don't know if I will return to Acapulco. I think Cancun is better.

GGuest UserThe building has an intriguing shape and there are many pools. It’s also right in La Condesa Beach. Ideal location, you would think. BUT…. 1. After checking in, I found a very dirty washroom sink, and called down to report it. The woman who arrived waved her hand dismissively but I stood my ground and she cleaned it. Turns out the drain is clogged so even if the poor cleaner did her job the first time, the previous guest’s hair and muck would ring the sink unless you took special care. Annnd the sink was never fixed the whole time I was there. 2. At checkin I got a band slapped on my wrist and later realized every guest got one. It showed you belong on the property. Also they come in different colors: White means a basic stay; red means breakfast included and purple means all inclusive. So yea others will know what you’re paying for during your stay. 3. The beach is pretty good except it’s a pirate’s cove — meaning that because of the vagaries of Mexican law, though Hotsun has a great location and a piece of the beach for its guests, where you can generally sit free, the spots nearest the water belong to the government. So if you sit in the lounge chairs and under the tents nearest the waves, you have to pay different guys who keep changing the price every single day. If you land on a cruise ship from some far-flung country you may not be aware of this. Those guys, wearing uniforms of some sort, also sell drinks that are exorbitantly priced. Before you figure out they have nothing to do with Hotsun, you may be taken for a ride. I was. Also, every 1-2 mins of every day, vendors descend on the beach with all sorts of things for sale. In one day I was asked to buy grilled shrimp on a stick, coconut water with jelly, sun hats, fridge magnets, massages, boat rides, oysters, sun dresses, sunglasses, beach floats, tattoos, braids, sunscreen, sand boots and a serenade from a nice old man with a guitar. People have to make a living, yes, and the law makes Mexican beach space very democratic, but I wish the hotel, which took a $200 MXN returnable deposit to give me a towel to lie by the pool for the duration of my stay, had warned me about the Wild West nature of the beach where it is located, and pointed out which uniformed person belongs to the hotel and a head’s up so I could buy at my own risk. I said “No, gracias” maybe 90 times during that one week. 4. The noise, oh the noise. El ruido comes up to the hotel’s top floors and grabs you by the neck: Music, laughter, children squealing, etc. These are usually all marvelous aspects about living on planet earth, but when you can’t sleep because a group at the hotel is holding a party on the beach and the thump thump thump of reggaeton is blaring deep into the night and giving you a headache, the conclusion is the hotel is not prioritizing the comfort of the rest of its guests. If this is your jam, go for it. But for many it would be a frustrating experience all around.

RResort24218831510PROS excellent service, friendly staff, very clean, great drinks, fun activities (tequila volleyball is a must), private beach area, great water pressure in the showers, every room has an amazing view, food was good (omelettes in the morning are the best), la cava restaurant is a great experience (be sure to make reservations for it, it is included in all inclusive packages) CONS basic rooms, hard beds, if you are a spring breaker there are more families here than college students (a plus or a minus depending on what you are looking for during the day), it is on the end of the hotel ***** so not everything is within walking distance (taxis are really inexpensive though, less than $5), no clocks in the rooms Acapulco is to Mexico what Florida is to the US, so if you are American you will be in the minority at the hotel but everyone was very friendly so it did not affect my experience at all If you are a spring breaker looking for craziness all day stay at the Playa Suites, but if you want a relaxing experience during the day stay here It is within walking distance to the Playa Suites, Disco Beach (you have to go there!!) and Ibiza plus McDonalds, KFC and other restaurants/stores Spring Breakers - be sure to hit up the Student City parties and purchase their party pass!! Disco Beach New Year's Party and Los Alebrijes Maxim VIP Party were some of the best nights of my life I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value for all inclusive packages.

GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded expectations and was a pleasant experience overall. Large rooms with ocean views, very clean environment, delicious food and friendly staff. A special shout out to Victor at the bar and Reyna the tortilla chef, such a pleasure to deal with! Catering to a mostly national clientele, it was even more fun to enjoy a vacation like the locals.

GGuest UserGood apartment for holiday with baby. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Because it’s mainly all in and we were on self catering, we found it annoying that the bar/kitchen were not open at reasonable times. The biggest issue is the location. It’s across from stoney beach not good for sunbathing and is a good walk from the end of the pine walk. We felt it was too dangerous to walk with a buggy at night time as no lighting so always factored in the time for the walk to the port and better beach. The bus is right there at the entrance and was very easy to use. Spa was lovely.
