SShepha SBooked for my family of 7 for one night on 26th Dec. Arrived at 5pm but unfortunately the apartment wasn't ready. We finally managed to check in at 6.30pm and allowed for late checkout at 4pm next day. Due to the pandemic situation, limited numbers of guests can use the pool at one time. Completely understandable. The management created, for my opinion, an irrelevant SOP for the pool. When checking in u need to book time to use the pool. Only 10person per hour. By the time the 10th group checked in, the pool booking already full. When i visited the pool the next morning, the group that booked the pool for the hour didn't show up & the pool left empty because people who didn't managed to book the pool earlier were denied entry & the people who booked did not show up. Should've make First In First Out rule. I did raised my concern twice to the reception & also manager on duty. They said they cannot do anything about the rule. Most of the guests were family with kids, of course all want to enjoy the pool. The pool booking system/SOP was absurd. The apartment was superb though. But the elevators does not make sense. And as an accommodation by the beach, would appreciate if you can provide some kind of facilities so that guests can clean themselves after enjoying the beach so the lobby won't be as messy. Your security guard locked the tap water at the beach entrance. I guess my stay would be much better if it wasn't the long weekend, but you guys can improve. Apartment was excellent, i got the sea view one. Your staff were good & patient.

GGuest UserI stayed at Hompton hotel by the beach in March. My room # 2101 is very nice with views on both sides ( city and sea view). I booked the same hotel and asked for the same room or as high as possible with good view. Then in July, my girlfriend and l checked in. They gave us as l asked for, same view and higher # 3101. I appreciate it. Friendly and good service. Penang is a food paradise and right in front of the hotel in a food court. 100 meters from the hotel is the bus stop. Grab is available in Malaysia. I used bus and grab, very convenient. Next time when l come to Penang, l will book Hompton by the beach again.

LLee BeeLocation is easy to go anywhere. Have food court in walking distance. Breakfast has limited choices. Staff is friendly and nice. Room is spacious, modern and clean. Gym has sea view, but small . Swimming is suitable for family and kids. Beach front hotel ,suites for kids and family. We will come back again .

GGuest UserWe visited this vibrant, welcoming resort in Penang on the way to Batu Ferringhi. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff. The resort, filled with beautiful flowers, was a feast for our eyes. Our room was large enough for our whole family, styled with Balinese decor. It truly felt like a slice of Bali in Penang. Come morning, we enjoyed sunrise by the sea from the garden. The resort has two pools, both having accessible spots for children. The restaurant, Bira Bira, offered great sea views, although with limited vegan options. However, our room's fridge was spacious, helping us store food. Overall, this family-owned resort—which seemed almost magical— provided us a peaceful, relaxing three-day stay.

DDIYANA SYAZUANII heard about this hotel somewhere and tried it by myself. What can I said, this is the best 4-star hotel in Penang. The service from front desk & staff are very helpful and good. The room given is amazingly great. Spacious room with bed, clean toilet, good water flow and small balcony. All the amenities provided works well and completed. Breakfast included with the price is average but still got a lot of choices. Access to beach is provided, very easy. Swimming pool standard but actually big. This hotel located at very strategic places that you can find out so many attraction places and also food shop. Great!

AAnonymous UserWhat a wonderful hotel, booked for 2 nights and the stay was awesome. My son really enjoyed the pool. The room was so spacious, a king size bed and a single bed with alot of space leftover. This hotel and room has lots of antique furniture and pianos. Eventhough this hotel is brand new (completed in 2024) but it give out an old world charm, it's like living in a hotel from the 60s. I especially love the flooring, it's totally mesmerising. Parking was sufficient enough for my suv. There was even a coway water dispenser in the pantry. This hotel doesn't have a reception counter but it has a very unique key box check in system. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Penang.

RRuthNice hotel located directly at the beach. I got a room on the 23rd floor and the view towards the sea was simply amazing! Best to view the early sunrise, absolutely stunning!
When I had a problem with the key card, the receptionist was eager to help, and they send someone to fix it right away.
Overall a good option for a weekend getaway. Just keep in mind that the main attractions of Penang like e.g. Georgetown is a little far (about 45 min by car).
