Hotel Review: An Average Stay I recently stayed for a short trip, and my experience was a mix of positives and areas for improvement. Pros: The hotel’s location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions and public transportation. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. My room was clean upon arrival, and the basic amenities like Wi-Fi, a TV, and toiletries were provided. The bed was comfortable, and the air ventilation was working well, which made my stay relatively pleasant. Also there is a magnificent view of Lijiang ancient town if you go to 5th floor Cons: The walls were quite thin, so I could hear noise from neighboring rooms especially the toilet flush and water flowing from sink, which interrupted my sleep. Additionally, housekeeping need to improve, as my room wasn’t tidied during all of my stay. Overall, Echo Liangqi Mountain House has decent option if you’re on a budget and prioritize location over luxury. However, there’s room for improvement in terms of noise insulation, amenities, and housekeeping. Rating: 3/5

This hotel provided a fantastic base for our exploration of Lijiang! The location couldn't be better, right next to the entrance of the Old Town, making it easy to immerse ourselves in the charm and beauty of this historic city. We were delighted to be upgraded to a better room category by the friendly owner. The room itself was spotless and offered lovely views overlooking the Old Town. What truly made our stay special was the owner's exceptional hospitality. He took the time to discuss our travel plans, offering insightful recommendations for places to visit and even guiding us through the booking process (with no affiliation, which was a pleasant surprise!). He even offered to drop us off at our chosen destination for free! Throughout our stay, he frequently checked in to see how our trip was progressing, which was a thoughtful touch. And to top it all off, after our 3-day stay, he offered us a complimentary ride to the airport! This level of service and generosity truly exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a hotel in Lijiang with a perfect location, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding hospitality, look no further!

we had problems because the non smoking room smelled like smoke and the ac wasn’t working. No air circulation, we couldn’t sleep. They helped us change room to their nicer suite in the middle of the night, so that helped.

Located right outside the ancient city, you can walk anywhere you need from here. You will also be overlooking the whole ancient city if you stay at the top floor.

The restaurant recommended by the boss is good 👍. The facilities are all from Dyson Kohler. Opposite is the ancient city and the tourist distribution center. There is also a viewing balcony on the 5th floor, which looks similar to the Eye of Lijiang

The hotel is in a great location, just opposite the Lijiang Square, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel is very design-conscious, with an observation deck on the top floor, which offers a great view of the ancient city at night. Looking out the window of the room, you can see the brightly lit Lijiang archway, and a long staircase leading to the second floor. When you take a step, the floor lights light up, just like a welcome ceremony.

The view from the rooftop on the 5th floor of the hotel is really great. The owner is also kind, and the accessibility to Lijiang Ancient Town is very good, so it's great for walking around at night.

The room was really great! The shower gel and shampoo were all disposable, the toilet was automatic, the curtains opened automatically, the bedding was clean, and there was a large rooftop on the top floor. The scenery on the rooftop was also very beautiful, and you could see the ancient city at a glance. I also used a Dyson hair dryer for the first time in my life in this hotel!

Environment: Across the road from the north gate of the ancient city, taxis can stop and drop off passengers at the door. The hotel entrance is very small and you need to walk up a small staircase to reach the lobby, but the front desk can help with luggage. Hygiene: It is a newly opened hotel with clean and bright interior decoration. There is an observation deck on the 5th floor. The bed in the room is 1.8 meters + 1.5 meters large enough. There are 2 washbasins. But once the suitcase is placed, there is no other space. There is no breakfast on the first floor. There are many places to eat. If you go there early, you will have afternoon tea and apples.

On the last night in the ancient city, we came back from Shangri-La. We originally booked a room on Lion Mountain, which had a better view. However, considering that we had to climb the slope and we were basically out, we didn't stay in the room all the time, so it seemed unnecessary. We changed to this room temporarily. The location is not bad, just opposite the Lijiang Square in the ancient city, but we need to go around from the front intersection. Add WeChat in advance to communicate the arrival time and location. The lobby is on the second floor. There is no elevator, but they will help to take the luggage up. They also upgraded the room type. You can see the ancient city. Although it is close to the road, the sound insulation is still good. There is a large bathtub. The tatami by the window is quite comfortable. The room has voice control, a humidifier, a Dyson hair dryer, and a small desk. The shower room and toilet are separated. The toilet is smart. The shower water is very large, but it is a bit hot and cold. The shower room is slightly small. It turns out that the Mickey Mouse frame is a shelf. I was wondering why there is no place to hang clothes and towels. It is recommended to have an indication. There are free fruits and snacks in the lobby. The view on the fifth floor is super good. You can see the night view of the ancient city. There is also a cafe. Afternoon tea is given, but I didn't have the opportunity to experience it. It is quite cost-effective

Traveled with good friends! The room is very large and bright. It was changed to a twin room with two beds, a 1.5-meter double bed and a single bed. The three girls lived very comfortably. There were two sinks (really good! No need to queue). The toilet and shower room were also separated, which was very good. The toilet was smart and had a flushing function, which could heat up the room. No need to worry about freezing...   The configuration was also very good. The toiletries were disposable small bottles. The hair dryer was a Dyson, which made the hair very fluffy. The lighting control system was also very clear. The bed, pillows and quilts were very soft and comfortable. The quilt should be a down quilt, which was very warm.   I stayed for three days and the overall experience was very good! The three of us liked it very much, and the store owner was also very patient in solving our problems.   The location is outside the ancient city, not inside, so you don’t have to pass through the bluestone slab... It was my first time visiting Yunnan and I found this hotel near the ancient city of Lijiang. I was really amazed. The lobby was decorated in an Instagram style and very clean. The rooms were just like the ones in the promotional pictures. You can even take the elevator to the fifth floor to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the view. It was so elegant! I was hooked.
