The front desk of the hotel was very warm and very standard: I signed a document when I copied my passport. I also specifically told me that the reason for signing this document was because I had to copy my passport and take it in another hotel to let me sign = =. From the hotel, not far from the Marquis de Pombal Square in Lisbon, then go down the city to the city center.

Hotel location is very good, about 300 meters from the train station. There are many shopping malls and restaurants nearby. A seafood restaurant is recommended. PINOQUIO is very delicious. We had two meals there during my stay at this hotel.

A 5-minute walk from Parque Metro Station and across the road from Parque Eduardo VII de Ingrateja, the hotel is conveniently located for access to tourist attractions and for walking and jogging. After arriving in Lisbon, I stayed for one night and then went to another city for a few days, and during that time I was able to store my luggage for free. The staff are all smiling and kind. The room is clean and quiet, has an oil heater, air conditioner, and mini refrigerator, and is large enough for one person. The only amenities are shower caps, shower gel and shampoo are provided. It is better to bring your own treatments. Maybe it's common in Portugal, but like in hotels in other cities, there are no tissues. The breakfast buffet was delicious with sufficient variety and quantity.

This hotel is very old!! I chose to stay here as this was the location of my meetings. I regretted taking this hotel the moment I entered the hallway leading to the room. This hotel must have been in glory in its hay days, but now it badly needs a renovation. Room was big and spacious with a huge bath fitted with nice tub, toilet with bidet, all required electrical fittings in place, but the upholstery on chair, curtains and poor lighting makes all goodness fade. Breakfast was ok. Bar was fine and food was good. Staff is very courteous, but way too slow. I wanted to checkin in the morning and I was told that rooms are not ready. I confirmed that I understand and I will take the room later, but will check in now to avoid formalities later. But this was not done. Consider a wait time of 30 mins for both check in and out!

Traumatic experience due to bed bugs I found on my bed while sleeping and suffered from their bites all over my body. it is unexpectable from a 3 star hotel to have this issue and don’t take the necessary measures of disinfection so your clients feel safe and sanitary. This is the second time a face this issue in Lisbon and the last time a bed bug got inside my luggage and transport in my home resulting that my house was infected by bed bugs and had to pay 300 euros for a disinfection of my entire house. The only solution you gave me was to change a room at 3 in the morning with the risk and fear to find bed bugs there as well and as a result I didn’t sleep. In the morning I asked from the receptionist to wash or dry my clothes in order to disinfect them and to not take the risk to bring a bed bag home but my request was denied. So they only told me that I should write this complaint email to you to ask for a refund because the receptionist could not refund me at the same moment.

Excellent, unbeatable location with direct bus service from the airport terminal to the door step of this hotel, which was previously a grand theatre and now sitting right at the heart of the main square in Lisbon old city. It is a tad dated inside but nothing to cry home about and the room is clean with a full kitchenette. Do not expect 5***** furnishings and you will appreciate that you got the best room in the best location at a fantastic price. The check-in staff were also fabulous.
