Montage Deer Valley is located adjacent to one of the countrys top ski mountains - offering ski in ski out access to Deer Valley Resort. In addition to snow skiing guests of the resort have access to several year round activities that include hiking - mountain biking - golf - outdoor concerts and fly fishing..Montage Deer Valley offers over 60000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting facilities. The 35000 square foot alpine-inspired Spa Montage is Utahs largest spa - and includes a fitness center and movement studio offering a full calendar of wellness classes and full-service salon. Other recreation at the resort includes ski-in-ski-out facilities - an on-site outfitting shop that provides lift tickets - rental equipment and mountain concierge and valet services - an indoor lap pool and outdoor swimming pool with sun deck - a Jacuzzi and a game room. Montage Deer Valley is family friendly with a range of programs and activities for children year-round..Accommodations include a combination of 129 guestrooms - 45 suites and 45 residences all with an exceptionally spacious. All rooms - suites and residences include a private balcony or patio with beautiful views. Some offer panoramic views of the mountain trails and alpine valleys. All rooms offer rich estate-quality furnishings - commissioned artwork - a comfortable sitting area and a romantic gas fireplace. Five-fixture marble bathrooms are equipped with a deep soak bathtub and separate shower cabin with rain shower head - double wash basins and heated floors.

My husband and I had the best time staying at the Goldener Hirsch Inn. The service was 1st class from check in to check out. The ambience made you feel like you were in Switzerland or Austria. It is located just steps from the Sterling Express Lift on mid mountain, which gives you access to some of the best runs at Deer Valley. They have complimentary ski storage overnight. When you get back from a long day of skiing, they offer free hot chocolate and cookies for apres ski, or you can grab a cocktail and some delicious appetizers at their bar. You can then head upstairs to the fourth floor to warm up in their hot tub or sauna. Our first night, we dined at their restaurant out of convenience, but it was probably the best meal we had all trip. We enjoyed sharing the cheese fondue as we sat next to a toasty fireplace. We then split the wiener schnitzel, which was out of this world. On other nights, if you wanted to meet friends in park city for a drink or just try one the the other restaurants in town, they offer complimentary cadillac car service through an easy to use (uber-like) app. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a driver to pick us up. If you want a spa appointment, the front desk is happy to hook you up with an appointment at one of the nearby hotels (Stein Erikson Lodge or St. Regis). This was by far our best Ski In Ski Out vacation!
