Great host and a good place to stay

I stayed at Dempseys for the month of November as a long-term guest. I stayed in room 5. It was nothing but a pleasure. Cleanliness was top class. My host Kath gracious, kind and helpful. There is an info pack in each room with lots of useful information for tourists. I was made to feel totally at home and did not want for anything during my stay. My bed was very comfortable, my room was serviced up to three times a week depending on my needs. Fresh towels as required. My kitchenette fully equipped with all the essentials and more, bar fridge, toaster oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. The room had a TV, Fans, emergency lamp and Free WIFI. The premises is a tranquil garden with lots of bird life, perfect to unwind and relax. Eco aware, I love the focus on water conservation and recycling. Whether you are only in town for a few nights or need longer term accommodation, I would highly recommend this guest house. Top class service from the lovely Kath!

A very warm welcome and the room was clean, neat and the kitchen lacked for nothing. I had a fantastic sleep! There is safe parking on the property. The external area is a delight with seating areas available to enjoy the incredible garden. So many different birds were spotted, I even had the fortunate experience of seeing an owl. Highly recommend Dempseys, not only for the amenities, but also for the warmth of the host Kathy who went above and beyond. I will definitely stay here again.

No Tips everything is just perfect. Lovely guesthouse and Cathy is a super person to deal with! It is a quiet place, very peacefull and near our destination where we must have been! We had to be at the St Georges Hospital which is only 7 minutes away from the guest house, which suits us very well. Thankyou!!

l was happy and content with my choice Dempsey guest house is a lovely place to stay when you are in Port Elizabeth. Kathy is very transparent regards the dos and don'ts and a great host very quient and safe suburb.

I (and various members of my family) have stayed at Dempsey's many times and have always enjoyed the experience. Kathy is a welcoming and gracious hostess and the accommodation is always comfortable and clean. The surroundings are peaceful and attractive. Always an absolute pleasure to stay here.

The place was welcoming at its own. Location is so good the owner was very much welcoming and giving us advices of where we can visite because of kids. The staff that helping the owner were extremely friendly. Garden well kept. The pets there some of my kids were afraid of those two cats I saw. But never thereless we will book the place next time probably this year in December again and we will stay longer.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Dempsey's Guest House on a recent business trip. The room is comfortable and the host, Kathy, is very welcoming. The location is ideal for my purposes: it is a five minute ride from the airport in a quiet, leafy suburb. I look forward to my next stay.
