The hotel is great value for money. It’s central, clean, and the staff is very friendly. It’s also very warm in the winter. Honestly, I think it’s really underestimated.

Overall a recommendable place, but please note the ground floor intercom which I had to keep pressing to reach for reception.

In general, everything is good: clean, quiet, the Colosseum, restaurants, grocery stores, and the train station are nearby. If the room, like ours, is near the reception, it can be noisy from 8am. The walls between the rooms are very thin - you can hear people washing. They also start cleaning early, so hang a sign so that they don't disturb you. You can leave your things after check-out (which is at 10:30, which is inconvenient), take a walk, and then pick them up before leaving for the airport.

Not very well signposted outside if you arrive when the guard is no longer there but the hotel is very comfortable. Breakfast was offered to us every morning. The staff is very pleasant. 15 min walk from the Colosseum, 30 min from the Trevi Fountain and 5 min from the train station

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. First, our air conditioner was not working, and the toilet kept flushing by itself repeatedly, making it impossible to sleep. I went to the reception to report the issues, but the staff was unhelpful. The man I spoke to suggested we stay the night in these conditions and said maybe something could be resolved tomorrow. I was left with no choice but to search for another hotel. I have video evidence of everything that happened and will certainly be sharing my experience online. The service here is awful, and I would not recommend staying at this hotel to anyone. You can modify it further if needed, but this format includes all your concerns clearly!

First of all a big shout out to our host/lady on the check in what a lovely women so helpful and the nicest person I met during my time in Rome. Room was clean modern and the air conditioning unit worked brilliantly especially because I came in July and it was peaking 31/32 degrees. Was provided with water bottles everyday aswell as coffee and fresh yogurt and also they supplied us with fresh pastry’s every morning during our stay overall it was an amazing stay and I couldn’t of picked a better guesthouse. Thanks for helping me and my wife make memories and I’d highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone.

The rooms are very small. Also the bathroom is very narrow. It looks different in the pictures. For breakfast, there is only yogurt, coffee (tea) and one croissant, which is hung on the door of the room in the morning. You have to eat breakfast in the room where you sleep and there is no separate space for it. Once we were not served breakfast at all. The location is nit good. The nearby subway is not working and is closed (you cannot use it).

This room is not a hotel as advertised on ***********. It’s a selection of tiny rooms in a building in a very grubby area. The road noise level and paper thin walls to other rooms, was such that we didn’t get much sleep and the tiny space made it so only 1 could open a suitcase. Whilst the room was clean the rate of $350au did no way reflect what was on offer. Having stayed in a similar style of accommodation only 3 weeks before just a short distance away, I feel validated in giving this review. At our previous accommodation at vimmile hill, the roads were quiet, the rooms a comfortable size and the rates were far less in a much cleaner area, sadly they were booked out and we took this place instead. I can’t recommend this accommodation as it’s a very budget style stop at high prices in a bad area. It was not the place we even booked but having arrived at that address we were then contacted via email, to walk to another address. The room was smaller than what we booked but we were told these rooms were the same. This accommodation Actually spoilt our last few days in Rome. I would like to note however the cleaning staff were lovely as was the gentleman attending our checkin. Management needs to lift their standards.

I will start by saying the room was good and the cleaning and breakfast staff were good. The office and particularly the inability to answer their telephone was very frustrating. We arrived at 4PM on a Thursday and there was no signage at the front of the building to indicate that the hotel was there. When we finally got directions to the 3rd floor, the reception was locked and no one answered the door bell. No one answered the telephone on the reservation either. Finally a staff member arrived with a bag of food and let us in. He informed us we were 'upgraded' to another building and walked us over a block or two. The hotel 'Marta Inn' was clearly just an old apartment made into three hotel rooms with a shared kitchen. This was adequate and we largely enjoyed our room. The bed was firm, the air conditioning cold, but the hot water never exceeded luke-warm. We booked airport transfer for our departure, we confirmed this at check-in. We were told the transport company had our details (phone and flight) and would contact us to organize pick up. At 0700 on day of departure, Monday, we had no contact from a transport company. We tried calling reception and got 'this phone is off or out of range'. We tried all three phone numbers provided. We downloaded Whatsapp and texted on the Whatsapp number supplied. We got no response or feedback. Finally the staff arrived that delivered breakfast and was able to reach his colleagues. Apparently the staff that normally organized transfers was on vacation the previous week, so she finally told us to get a taxi, they wouldn't be able to organize our pick-up in time to make our flight.

It is the second time we have stayed in this facility......a guarantee! Our room was perfect for us, warm, clean, welcoming, equipped with every comfort, super excellent price especially for everything they offer, breakfast in the room: we found 2 yogurts and a coke in the fridge, 2 bottles of water, kettle, various types of tea, instant coffee, 2 single-dose capsules of milk, sugar, an espresso machine with various pods, 2 biscuits, and finally, in the morning the very kind Mrs. Teresa, leaves 2 fresh croissants at your room door... .. which is violated more!!!! Well-stocked courtesy kit in the bathroom, very powerful hairdryer (rare!) TV, large wardrobe with safe. The only note: the rooms are poorly soundproofed, even if you can't hear any noise from the outside because ours faced the internal courtyard, you can hear the other guests of the structure especially if they are not very polite and respectful! The location is excellent: a few minutes walk from Termini station and Santa Maria Maggiore. Both the girl at check in (unfortunately we don't remember her name) and Mrs. Teresa are extremely delightful and kind people, we were able to leave our luggage and then collect them before our departure..... very convenient service! We discovered that they have other similar facilities in the same area..... if you don't find a place here.... ask them, they will certainly find you accommodation suited to your needs! Of course, we recommend staying at this property without any doubt!! Thanks, see you soon!

Hotel in a great location, 900 meters from the Colosseum, 10 minutes walk from the train station and 2 minutes from the metro. If the location is excellent, the quality of the hotel lies above all in the service offered which is impeccable. The manager takes great care, offering free cold drinks and couques every morning at the doorstep of the room. Room perfectly air-conditioned, large, pleasant and cleaned every day. We were delighted with the stay for our part!
