Gran Hotel Presidente

The Good: The staff is wonderful, very helpful. The breakfast is pretty good, good selection of fruit and healthier choice. However, pretty much daily the same. The hotel has some parking spots, it is first come first served. We had a rental a couple of nights and never had an issue parking at the hotel. You can actually open your windows in the room. The Bad: Where to start... the hotel rooms are extremely outdated. Needs a renovation. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, so were the pillows. The shower would keep all the water in and it was built with a slope against the drain... Water pressure was okay. The elevators..... There are two elevators in use for the entire hotel, used both by the guests and the staff (maids, handyman, etc.). You either spend a LOT of time waiting for the elevator (which is rather small and mostly full when it finally opens at your floor) or you can take the stairs. The location is really good, very short walk from the square, lots of convenience stores etc around. In all it wasn't that bad, just not a wow factor and a lot to be improved.
