Chengjia Apartment Hotel (Shanghai Zhongtan Road subway station )

This hotel is really at Goog location. You can walk 5 to minutes for Metro station called Zhongtan Rd. Station from there, you can catch line 4 to go anywhere in the city. East Nanjing Street and The Bund is not far away from the hotel, but still, you need to go through the metro. The room size is small but good for one person. I stayed for three nights, and I am happy with the choice. There are many food options nearby specially fruit shops and there is Muslim restaurant near the Metro station. Booked this hotel through Trip.com and seriously zero difficulty while booking and check-in process. Hardly it took one minute for the front desk to give me my room. I arrived at the hotel late at night around 2 a.m., but the staff member was active and welcoming the moment I arrived. The front desk guy said sir we were waiting for you."" Although they can not speak English and it's fine because it's not their first language, but still, you can communicate with the translation apps. My room has a window, a study table microwave electric kettle fridge, and a washing machine. Everything was working fine with no complaints. The next cleaning lady knocked on the door and asked if I needed to refresh the room, so I got the service new bottled water for me. Overall, I got the service that I paid for !! Highly recommended 👌

great hotel, great service, has everything you need. clean and lots of small shops nearby. not too far from centre. I would recommend this hotel.

Well this is the third time I'm staying at the same hotel, because the hotels services are just excellent, location, surrounding, room and staff. This time I needed an iron box to iron my shirt for the official meeting next day, the only glitch happened, that they didn't have one .yet the staff was quite helpful, specially the front desk girl named Wang، she reported the Matter to the administration and iron box was arranged, she apologized for not having that time the iron box. Upon checking out she have me a small souvenir as mark of hospitality. Thank you Ms. Wang , hope to visit the hotel again
