My female colleague's room did not have a lock, considering the very scary location. We had to hunker down in 1 room, fearing the worst.

The TV is big, the environment is good, and there is a tennis court

For business travel, it is relatively close to the airport. There is a tennis court next door. The facilities are relatively old and the neighborhood is relatively deserted.

hotel close to the airport, nothing around: basic dirty rooms, low quality restaurant; service fast and acceptable. I would not suggest to stay here But the worst was ******* (I booked thru *******), because on the web was not clear that: 1- breakfast was not included; 2- nobody will issue an invoice for the stay paid to *******. NEVER MORE BOOKING ANYTHING THRU *******.

Good points : - The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and kept us well informed whenever we had questions. - We were left to check out at 1 p.m. Negative points : - The location: it's literally a No Man's Land there is absolutely nothing around the hotel. - The swimming pool: we were told that there would be 2 swimming pools, one indoors and one outdoors, however during the 5 days we were there the outdoor pool had a problem and was green they gave them took several days to completely empty it in the field next to the hotel and as many days to fill it using a small garden hose, when we asked if we could at least enjoy the indoor pool we were told that it was emptied during the summer and therefore during our stay we could not take advantage of the swimming pool once. - Cleanliness: leaves something to be desired, cleaning was only done once during our stay of 4 nights because we explicitly requested it (although every day we put "clean the room" on our door). The joints of the bathroom were completely moldy, the terrace was filled with excrement of midges, the evacuation of the condensation of the air conditioning went directly to the terrace which made that when we used the air conditioning the terrace was flooded dirty water and prevented us from walking freely, the entrance door to the room (213) was completely smashed. - Breakfast: we could not book the room without breakfast unfortunately because there was no choice it even happened to us not to take it at the hotel even if it was paid. The value for money leaves something to be desired given the inconveniences but the 2 receptionists who did our check-in and our check-out were very friendly

The hotel can’t be 3 stars hotel at all. Objectively it’s a 1 star hotel/ nice hostel. The room is ok but the sound insulation is very poor that you hear everything in the corridors as if the door is open. They advertise for Free airport shuttle at the website but then they told us we have to pay for it because our room is economy rate, which is not mentioned at all anywhere. The guy in the reception ( Tuesday 2 June 2022 @ 8pm) is rude and doesn’t want to work. I asked for a kettle to be able to wash the baby bottles and he said that they don’t have any and I need to come to the reception to wash it every time I need to, when I insisted they gave me one. What kind of 3 stars hotel doesn’t have a kettle and why you say you don’t have one if you have one. The central air conditioning is not working in all the hotel, with a temperature outside of 35 degrees Celsius, in the reception and the restaurant is not pleasant to stay at all. There were air conditioning station in both of them but they had them turned off to save electricity I guess. The restaurant is even worse. They recommended us to wait for the open buffet which was a joke. We preferred the food on the menu which was also very bad and the chicken souvlaki was raw. On top of that there were inside temperature of 35 degrees at the restaurant. When we got the restaurant receipt, it had completely different items than what we asked for, they say because they don’t have all the options in their system. Definitely it’s a nice Hostel not a 3 stars hotel. Don’t recommend it at all and never will stay in it again

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, especially from the owner who refused to give us his name, very rude and sarcastic too. They left our family with two young kids of 2 and 4 year old waiting at the airport for OVER AN HOUR. When we booked we stated the time we will be needing a pick up, and on arrival after we collected our belongings we called the place just to be told 30’ delay. After three phone calls and an 90 min WAITING ON THE ROAD with very tired kids we got picked up AT 1AM there was ONLY ONE STAFF for shuttle bus and reception, the owner was just hiding from any responsibility, the place was REVOLTING 🤢 breakfast NOT FRESH and a lady was using her hands to load the cold buffet. HYGIENE DOESNT EXIST. The whole place was covered in filth, and if it wasn’t emergency ,WE would had rather spend the night at the airport ! STAY AWAY FROM THAT SCUM !

The worst hotel! Disquisting and dirty everywhere, spiders everywhere, spilled blood on the bed, dust and all the room was really dirty, overpriced (85 p/n) when I asked to change the room they told me that it's economy(so I must sleep to this rubbish?) Rude service. Worthless! If you respect yourself avoid this place.

One of the worst airport hotels we have visited Liked · Location near the airport. Disliked · Poorly lit room and corridors. Deep blue lights hiding defects and dirt. Elevator has not been cleaned for a long time. Bathroom facilities broken and dirty. For the same price another member of our party got a much cleaner and renovated room.

No pools, no gym as advertised. Room reasonable, clean, comfy - but chose the hotel for the facilities advertised which don’t exist. Others available at similar price with breakfast and shuttle included. Shuttle advertised as free also cost us €10 each way. Receptionist so nice and apologetic but we had 3 nights no pool/spa/gym - which we really looked forward to. So sorry business is not doing well as people are nice - but this is not at all as advertised and therefore we would never have selected.

I had to spend the night at the airport because of a last minute cancellation from their side. A rude and arrogant mister from the hotel contacted me couple of hours before my arrival at the hotel telling me that some clients decided to extend their stay, and since the hotel was full, they had to cancel my stay. Their solution : find another hotel, there are plenty in the area. The issue, they were are full. Even with my complaints, their answer was "this is it, call another hotel" Thank you Athina Airport hotel for a wonderful evening at Thessaloniki airport!!
