Chanel Iman
Chanel Iman was born in Georgia but raised in Los Angeles. She started modeling at the age of 12 and won third place in Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World contest four years later.
Iman’s career took off shortly after signing with Ford Models in 2006, posing for spreads in Allure, Ukrainian Harpers Bazaar, Italian Vanity Fair and several international Vogue editions. She landed her first Teen Vogue cover alongside Karlie Kloss and Ali Michael in 2007.
Her professional experience also includes walking runway shows for Burberry, Tom Ford, Stella McCartney, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs and more. Iman cemented herself as a supermodel in 2010 when she became a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
Iman was a guest judge on America’s Next Top Model in 2009 and later posed with the contestants during a separate episode. She made her film debut in 2015’s Dope and went on to star in 2017’s Mad Families.
In 2016, Iman started dating NFL player Sterling Shepard. The pair got engaged one year later and tied the knot in March 2018. The model and the New York Giants receiver welcomed their first child, daughter Cali, in August 2018. They later became parents again when Iman gave birth to daughter Cassie in December 2019.
Us broke the news in January 2022 that the pair quietly separated and were getting divorced.
