Christina Ricci
Christina Ricci made her film debut at the age of 9 in Mermaids in 1990, which was followed by her breakout role as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family (1991). She reprised the role in its 1993 sequel, Addams Family Values, and appeared in the 1995 films Caspar and Now and Then. Ricci portrayed Liza Bump on Ally McBeal and received an Emmy Award nomination for her guest role on Grey’s Anatomy in 2006.
She went on to star on ABC’s Pan Am from 2011 to 2012 and produced and starred in the series The Lizzie Borden Chronicles in 2015. Ricci appeared as Marilyn Thornhill on Netflix’s Wednesday in 2022 and played Misty Quigley on Showtime’s Yellowjackets, receiving nominations for the 2022 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress and the 2024 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress. Ricci also starred in Penelope (2006), Speed Racer (2008), Bel Ami (2012) and The Matrix Resurrections (2021). She made her Broadway debut in 2010 as Mandy in Time Stands Still.
Ricci was previously engaged to All’s Faire in Love costar Owen Benjamin in March 2009, but they split two months later. Ricci married James Heerdegen in 2013. The exes welcomed son Freddie in August 2014.
Ricci filed for divorce in July 2020, alleging she was physically and emotionally abused by Heerdegen. In January 2021, Ricci was granted a domestic abuse restraining order against Heerdegen. She was granted full custody of their son three months later, while Heerdegen was given visitation rights. In October 2021, Ricci announced her marriage to hairstylist Mark Hampton. The couple welcomed daughter Cleo in December 2021.
